Rank for the route and the vehicle, not for car rental in your city.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a car rental business decides whether you appear when a traveller searches a route and a vehicle, such as a tempo traveller to Ooty. GullySales builds a page for each route and service you run, and fixes the site holding them back.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For car rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search is two places and a vehicle”

People type a starting city, a destination and often the model, so a fleet page listing six cars matches none of those searches.

  • “Aggregators own the general searches”

Portals will outrank you for car rental in a city, and the route pages they have not written are where an operator can still win.

  • “The rate structure on the page decides the call”

A page showing the per kilometre rate, the minimum kilometres and what driver bata covers gets the enquiry that a contact form never does.

What we do

What we deliver for car rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each route you actually run

Separate pages for your main outstation routes, airport transfers and local packages, with distance, time, stops and the rate structure.

Result: A traveller searching their route finds your page.

  2. Vehicle pages with real photographs

A page for each vehicle type showing seating, luggage space and photographs of your own cars rather than brochure images.

Result: Travellers see the vehicle they will actually get.

  3. Rates published as a structure

Per kilometre rate, minimum kilometres a day, driver bata, toll and parking treatment and night charges shown on every route page.

Result: Enquiries arrive from people who accept your rates.

  4. Site faults cleared from an old build

Page speed, broken booking forms and duplicate route pages fixed, since most operator sites are built once and then left.

Result: A route page is no longer held back by the site around it.

  5. A report by route page

Search position and enquiries per route page, compared with where the site stood at the start.

Result: You can see which route is worth writing more about.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches travellers type

What a traveller or company types before booking a car, and the page that answers it.

Bengaluru to Mysuru taxi one way
A route page. Give the distance, the vehicle options, how tolls and driver allowance are treated, pick-up and drop points, and what a customer should send when asking for a quote.
tempo traveller on rent 12 seater
A vehicle page with real photographs. Give seating, luggage space, air conditioning, whether it carries a music system and the rate structure. Add the permit status for state borders.
self drive car rental near me
A self-drive page. List documents needed (driving licence, ID), the deposit, kilometre limits, fuel rules and insurance cover. Write out what a customer pays if the car is damaged.
airport taxi booking
An airport page. Say how pick-up works, whether the driver tracks the flight, how long the driver waits and what happens if a flight is late. Say the booking route and how payment is taken.
wedding car rental decorated
A wedding page. Show the cars, decoration options, driver dress and how many cars a family can book together. Ask for date, venue and route in the enquiry.
monthly car rental for company employees
A corporate page. List documents you supply (GST invoice, permits, driver verification), how trips are billed and how a replacement car is handled if one breaks down.

Who it is for

This is written for these car rental companies.

  • Outstation cab and chauffeur-driven car operators
  • Airport transfer and city taxi services
  • Self-drive car rental companies
  • Tempo traveller and mini-bus rental operators
  • Luxury and wedding car rental services
  • Corporate car rental and employee transport providers
  • Long-term car leasing and subscription providers
  • Tour operators with their own fleet
  • Travel agents who arrange cabs through partner fleets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The company does not run the routes a page would be written for, so a ranked page would attract travellers it cannot serve.
  • The website cannot be edited, so route and vehicle pages would never reach it.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we outrank Savaari and the travel portals?
Not for a general city search. You can for specific routes and vehicle combinations they have not written a proper page for, and for your own city plus airport searches. Those bring direct bookings.
How many route pages should we write?
Start with the ten routes you actually run well and want more of. A page for a route you would subcontract brings an enquiry you cannot serve, and the review that follows is yours.
Can we use customers' trip photos and names on the site?
Only with their clear consent, and never with number plates or faces of others in view. Ask at the time of the trip. A short written message from the customer is enough to keep on record.
Should cab hire and self-drive share one website?
They can share a site, but keep separate pages and booking forms. The customers differ: one wants a driver and a route, the other wants a car and a deposit. Mixing them confuses both searches.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
