Commercial solar EPC companies · Lead generation

Know which of your enquiries have a roof, a bill and a decision maker behind them.

Lead generation for a commercial solar EPC company is bringing in enquiries from factories, warehouses and campuses that have a roof, a connection and a real reason to act, from every source you use. GullySales sets up each source, qualifies it with a few plain questions and records it through to the order.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For commercial solar EPC companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A call about solar is not yet a lead”

A caller may have a rented shed, a tiny load or no authority to decide. Without three or four questions at the start, the survey team spends days on files that were never going to buy.

  • “The best enquiries arrive from people, not forms”

A consultant's message, a PEB builder's call, a plant head who attended your talk. These rarely touch the website, so they are never counted and never learned from.

  • “Tenders and private sales need different handling”

A tender notice has a date and a rule set. A private factory enquiry has a bill and a promoter. Mixed in one list, both are followed up badly.

What we do

What we deliver for commercial solar EPC companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A qualifying form that asks for the bill

A short enquiry form asking the building, the roof type, who owns the building, the connection and a recent bill upload, kept brief enough that a plant head completes it.

Result: The team sees which enquiries have a real bill behind them.

  2. Source tracking for every enquiry

A list of sources (search, consultant, association, tender, referral, outreach, trade show) set up so each enquiry carries its source from the first contact.

Result: You see which source brings surveys and orders, not only calls.

  3. A reply and survey routine

A written reply for each source and a rule for when a survey is booked, who attends and what is recorded afterwards.

Result: A serious enquiry gets a named person and a survey date.

  4. Outreach to named plants

A researched list of factories, warehouses and campuses in the estates you serve, and a short note to the plant head or the finance head with a pointer to the right page.

Result: Conversations begin with owners who match your roofs.

  5. A partner and consultant channel

A pack, an introduction sheet and a tracking record for consultants, PEB builders and architects who meet buyers before you do.

Result: An introduction can be traced and answered.

  6. A lost-file read-out

A reading of closed enquiries and their reasons, by source and building type.

Result: Spend moves to the sources that produce orders.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Where a commercial solar enquiry arrives, what to record and how to reply.

A plant head who rings after a search
Note the unit, the roof type, who owns the building and whether a bill is at hand. Ask him to send the last electricity bill by WhatsApp, and fix a survey date before the call ends.
An energy consultant or auditor
Record the consultant, the client, and what the client's energy report already says. Ask for consent to speak to the client directly, and agree in writing what is paid and on what.
A PEB builder or architect
Note the building, its stage and roof design. A new shed can be designed for solar from the start, so ask for the roof drawings before any proposal and say who bears the cost of strengthening.
An industrial association or a trade show
Log the event and the person, with one line on the roof. Reply by name the same day with the page for their building type, and record whether the call was answered.
A tender notice
Create a separate record with the notice date, the department, the eligibility and the last date. Decide whether to bid on written criteria, not on feel, and note the reason you declined.
An existing customer or a neighbour of one
Record which plant they have seen and who recommended you. Ask the earlier owner whether the visit may be repeated, and thank him without offering money for the introduction.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for commercial solar EPC companies

  1. 1

    Audit the enquiry-to-order path

We read how enquiries arrive, how a survey is booked, what the proposal looks like and where files stall, using your last proposals and the orders you lost.

  2. 2

Build pages for each building and buyer

Pages for factories, warehouses, campuses and commercial buildings, written around the questions each buyer asks, with the roof and the bill at the centre.

  3. 3

Set the survey and proposal routine

A written step from enquiry to survey to proposal, with the fields to record, the person who owns each step and the proposal layout.

  4. 4

Record every proposal and follow it

One shared record of each enquiry and proposal version, with the next call and the reason a file closed.

  5. 5

    Turn running plants into references

Written agreement with willing owners for case pages and hosted visits, and a note to past customers about further roofs.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we buy leads from solar lead portals?
Treat them as a source to be measured, not a plan. Ask who else got the enquiry, whether the buyer owns the roof and how recent it is. Count orders from the source separately. Many portal leads are home enquiries, so check the building type before you pay.
How do we handle duplicate enquiries from one factory?
Match them on the consumer number or on company and building. A promoter, a plant head and a consultant may each enquire about the same roof. Merge them into one file with all the contacts, so two engineers do not quote the same plant.
What counts as a qualified enquiry?
A building the buyer owns or has the landlord's consent for, a roof that can take a plant, a bill that shows a real load, and a decision maker you have spoken to. Anything less is early research and belongs on a separate list.
Are trade shows and association meetings worth recording?
Yes. Note the event, the person met and what they said about their roof, then follow up through your own routine. Visiting cards that stay in a drawer are the largest uncounted source for many EPC firms.
Should we publish a rate per kWp on our website?
Publish the basis, not a bare rate. Say what is inside it: modules, inverters, structure, cabling, approvals and monitoring, and what is outside it. A buyer will compare numbers, so a rate without the scope invites a lower quote that leaves half the work out.
Do factory owners search online, or does everything come through consultants?
Both. Consultants and associations bring many introductions, but the plant head or the owner then searches your name, your projects and your reviews before a survey is agreed. If that search finds nothing, a good introduction goes cold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
