GullySales

E-commerce · Mobile Phones & Accessories

Buyers read ten reviews and one spec table, then pay whoever promises the earliest delivery.

A smartphone is among the largest purchases a household makes in a year, and the buyer treats it that way. They know the model, the chipset and the camera from reviews, so what they ask of you is different: is the stock sealed, is the invoice valid for warranty, and what is my old phone worth.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Smartphones e-commerce is the online sale of new, open-box and refurbished handsets, with exchange, EMI and bank-offer terms attached. GullySales works on how your pages state the variant, warranty and invoice, how you handle exchange and finance questions, and how launch weeks are planned so stock and ads arrive together.

Launch weeks decide a lot. Pre-booking, a new colour and a festive offer all arrive within days of each other, and a seller who is late to the page is late to the sale.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell smartphones online.

  • Multi-brand dealers selling new phones through a website and marketplaces
  • Authorised sellers who run exchange and EMI offers
  • Refurbished and open-box phone sellers building trust with a grade and warranty
  • Retailers whose showroom enquiries come on WhatsApp and need an online answer

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A seller of used phones who cannot state the battery condition and warranty
  • Anyone selling imported grey-market handsets as Indian-warranty stock

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of smartphones.

  1. The exact variant

Model, storage, memory and colour, matched to the variant the buyer has researched. A single mismatch in the title is a return and a bad review.

  2. Exchange and trade-in

The buyer wants to know what the old phone fetches, how it is valued and when the discount applies. A vague exchange note loses the sale to a seller who quotes.

  3. EMI, cards and offers

No-cost EMI, bank cashback, a festive offer. The buyer reads the conditions, so the terms must be on the page and match what the bank does.

  4. Launch and availability

Pre-order dates, first delivery, colours in stock. At launch the buyer wants a date and a confirmed price.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell smartphones online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “Customers ask for the price on WhatsApp and leave when we are slow”

The enquiry is for one model in one colour. If the answer is not quick and complete with the exchange and offer included, they buy from the seller who replied.

  • “We cannot quote the exchange value online”

A buyer with an old handset wants a number. Without a simple way to get one, the buyer visits a shop to bargain and the online sale is gone.

  • “Our refurbished phones are doubted”

Buyers have had bad experiences with used handsets. Without a grading scale, battery information and a warranty statement, the buyer chooses new at a higher price.

What we do

What you get for smartphones.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A smartphone page template

Variant, warranty, invoice, seal, exchange and offer terms in a fixed order, to answer the buyer's checklist in one screen.

  2. An exchange quote form and reply

A form and a WhatsApp reply set that quote a value for common old models.

  3. A launch calendar

Dates, stock, offers, pages and ads for the next handset launches, with who does what and by when.

  4. A refurbished grading page

A grade scale, what each grade means and how the battery and screen are checked.

  5. A top-model competitor sheet

Price, delivery and offer terms for your five best-selling models against three other sellers.

How the result is measured

  • Purchases
  • Conversion rate
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Average order value
  • Exchange enquiries and orders
  • Return rate

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your top phones and the variants you stock
  • Your exchange process and how you value an old phone
  • Bank and EMI terms you can offer
  • Prices and delivery dates from three competitors
  • WhatsApp enquiries that did not end in an order

Selling in India and abroad

Selling smartphones beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. A handset is built for a market

Network bands, warranty and software differ by country, so a phone from India may not be fully supported elsewhere. Selling handsets abroad is a specialist trade with duty and import checks.

  2. Families abroad buying for home

A buyer in the Gulf or the US ordering for delivery in India is the first overseas order. They want a valid Indian invoice and payment in their currency.

FAQ

Questions about selling smartphones online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I get buyers to trust that my phones are genuine?
State the source, the seal and the warranty, and show the invoice they will receive. Reviews that say the box arrived sealed matter more than any claim. We ask your last customers for them.
Should I advertise a phone at launch?
Only if stock is confirmed and the page is ready. A launch ad to a page that says out of stock wastes the week. We plan around your supply dates.
How do I sell refurbished phones online?
With a grade scale, photographs, battery information and a written warranty. Say what was replaced. Buyers will accept a used phone if the terms are honest.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
