Career counselling centres · Social media

Show parents how your counsellors think before the family has to ask.

Social media marketing for a career counselling centre is sharing counsellors' explanations of choices, not advertisements for courses. GullySales works on a content plan, WhatsApp and Instagram formats and the way a comment turns into a conversation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For career counselling centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A parent watches before they call”

A mother scrolling Instagram at night is checking whether the counsellor sounds thoughtful. A short video of a counsellor explaining how interests and marks are weighed answers that doubt before a call is made.

  • “The student and the parent follow different places”

A student looks at Instagram and YouTube; a parent reads WhatsApp groups and Facebook. A post written for one audience misses the other, so the same idea needs two forms.

  • “Posting only at result time wastes the rest of the year”

Families form an opinion of a centre long before they need it. Posts that explain subject choice, study habits and career myths in quiet months build the name that a results-week search then finds.

What we do

What we deliver for career counselling centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built around decisions

Topics laid out against the board, entrance and admission dates, with quiet-month topics between them.

Result: The team knows what is posted and why for each stretch of the year.

  2. Counsellor explainer videos

Short, plain videos where a counsellor explains one idea, such as how an aptitude result is read.

Result: The counsellor's way of thinking is visible before the first call.

  3. Parent-facing WhatsApp status and broadcast formats

Short cards and notes written for the parents' groups, with a booking link.

Result: A parent can act on a post without searching for the centre.

  4. A comment and message reply guide

Suggested replies for common questions, including how to answer a request for advice that needs a session.

Result: A public question gets a civil answer and an invitation to book.

  5. A privacy rule for pictures and stories

A one-page rule on what may be shown, with written consent for any student or parent.

Result: No post shows a child's marks, school or choice without consent.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these career counselling centres.

  • Stream and subject choice guidance for Class 9 to 12
  • Centres helping students choose degree courses and colleges after Class 12
  • Psychometric and aptitude assessment providers
  • Career-change guidance for working professionals
  • School-based counselling providers visiting on contract
  • Practices that specialise in NEET, engineering or design aspirants and their alternatives
  • Study-abroad guidance kept separate from admission agency work
  • Online-only counselling by video

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post our students' results or college admissions?
Do not post marks or a child's identity without written consent from the student and the parent, and avoid implying that your guidance caused an outcome. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser before you publish.
Which platform should we start with?
Start where your families already are. In India that means WhatsApp and Instagram, with a Google profile behind them. Add others only when there is time to keep them current.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
