GRE and GMAT coaching institutes · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a graduate searches for GRE coaching near the office or campus.

Local SEO for a coaching centre is the work of appearing in map results for candidates who want classroom batches within reach of home, work or college. GullySales works on the listing, the area it covers and the reviews behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For GRE and GMAT coaching institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A working professional picks a centre on the commute”

Weekend and evening batches are chosen by distance from the office or the metro. A listing that shows the wrong area, or no landmark, loses the candidate who would have attended every class.

  • “Hours on the listing do not match batch timings”

A candidate who searches on a Saturday morning and sees the centre as closed does not call. Counselling hours, demo hours and batch hours differ, and the listing shows only one of them.

  • “Reviews are read as a comparison of teachers”

In a coaching search the review text names teachers, and the reader compares those names. A listing without recent, specific reviews sits beside rivals who have them.

  • “One listing for an online and an offline business confuses both”

An institute that teaches online and from a centre needs the listing to say which is which. Otherwise the online candidate expects a visit and the nearby candidate cannot tell if classroom batches exist.

What we do

What we deliver for GRE and GMAT coaching institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified listing for each centre

A separate profile for each centre with its own address, hours, photographs and phone line.

Result: Each centre appears for the candidates near it.

  2. Counselling and demo hours on the listing

Special hours that show when a counsellor is available and when demos run, kept current.

Result: A searcher sees a centre that is open for the visit they want.

  3. Photographs of classrooms and the library

Pictures of the actual teaching rooms, the study area and the entrance, with no candidates shown.

Result: A visitor knows what the centre looks like before arriving.

  4. A review request at the end of a course

A polite request made by the counsellor with the link ready, asking for the candidate's own experience in their own words.

Result: New reviews are recent and come from enrolled candidates.

  5. A landmark and route line in the description

Directions by metro, bus or nearby landmark written in plain words on the profile and the website.

Result: Nobody gets lost on the way to the demo.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should an online-only institute bother with a map listing?
If there is no place a candidate can visit, a map listing does little. Concentrate on search pages and content. If counselling or demos happen at an address, list that address and say so.
Can we ask enrolled candidates for reviews?
Yes, asking is fine. Offering a reward for a review is not, and platforms have their own rules on this. Check the platform's current rules, and advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
