GRE and GMAT coaching institutes · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a candidate reads while still deciding whether to take the GRE or the GMAT.

SEO for a test-preparation institute means appearing when graduates and professionals search for exam format, syllabus, scoring and coaching. GullySales works on the pages, the structure and the technical base that let those searches find you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For GRE and GMAT coaching institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Candidates search the exam before they search coaching”

Questions about the exam pattern, the sections and the difference between the two tests come well before a search for an institute. The institute that answers them plainly is already known when the coaching search begins.

  • “A single batches page cannot rank for everything”

One page listing GRE, GMAT, weekend, online and one-to-one options answers none of those searches properly. Each offer that people search for under its own name needs its own page with its own detail.

  • “Teacher pages are an overlooked ranking asset”

Candidates search a teacher by name once they have seen a free lesson. A page that carries the teacher's subject, background and sample explanation gives that search somewhere to land.

  • “Thin pages repeat across cities”

Copying one page with a different city name looks like effort and reads like none. A page earns its place by saying something particular about that centre, that batch or that teacher.

What we do

What we deliver for GRE and GMAT coaching institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page plan from the questions candidates ask

A list of exam, scoring and preparation questions grouped into pages, each matched to a search a candidate would type.

Result: You know which pages to write and in what order.

  2. Pages for each batch and format

Separate pages for weekend, evening, online and one-to-one options, each with timing, class size and teacher.

Result: A search for a format finds the page about that format.

  3. Teacher profile pages

A page per teacher with subject, teaching style and a sample explanation, linked from the batches they take.

Result: A candidate searching a teacher's name reaches your page.

  4. A technical check of the site

Speed on a mobile connection, crawl errors, duplicate pages and the sitemap, reviewed in Search Console.

Result: Search engines can read every page you want found.

  5. Internal links from guides to batches

Links from each exam guide to the batch and demo page it leads to, written as plain sentences.

Result: A reader of a guide has an obvious next step.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long before SEO shows results?
Nobody can state that honestly in advance, and GullySales does not promise rankings. What we can show is which pages are published, indexed and receiving visits, set against the baseline taken before the work starts.
Do we need a blog to rank?
You need pages that answer what candidates search. Some are guides, some are batch pages, some are teacher pages. A blog is one way to publish the guides, and it is not required.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
