IELTS and language test coaching institutes · Local SEO

Make the institute the obvious choice when a student searches near their home.

Local SEO for a coaching institute is how the centre appears when someone searches for the test along with a place name or the words near me. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, listings, review replies and the location details on your site.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For IELTS and language test coaching institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Travel time decides the evening batch”

A student who has finished work or college will not cross the city twice a week. The nearest suitable institute wins the visit, so the profile must make the address and the landmark easy to find.

  • “The profile is read before the website”

Students see the map listing first. If its hours, photos and services are out of date, the student never reaches the site and moves to the next listing.

  • “Reviews answer the question the brochure cannot”

A prospective student reads what past students say about the trainers and the batch discipline. A review left unanswered, or an answer that sounds defensive, tells the reader how the institute treats students.

  • “Online and hybrid batches blur the map”

An institute offering both classroom and online classes must say clearly which is which. Otherwise the listing attracts callers from places it does not serve, and wastes counsellor time.

What we do

What we deliver for IELTS and language test coaching institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and clean-up

Name, address, hours, services and categories on the profile are checked and corrected against what the centre really offers.

Result: The profile matches the front door and the website.

  2. Photo plan for the centre

A list of photos worth taking, such as reception, classroom, practice lab and signage, with guidance on keeping student faces out unless consent is held.

Result: The profile shows the actual place a student will walk into.

  3. Review request and reply routine

A polite message to send students who have completed a batch, and reply wording for praise and complaints alike.

Result: Every review on the profile has a reply from the institute.

  4. Consistent listings across directories

The same name, address and phone details across the directories where students look for coaching.

Result: A search for the institute shows one set of details everywhere.

  5. A location page with directions

Landmarks, nearest transport, parking and a map on the website for each centre.

Result: A new student can find the centre without phoning to ask.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is it allowed to ask students for reviews?
Yes, by asking politely and never offering a gift or discount in return. Check the platform's current rules. Do not publish a score or result in a review unless the student has consented in writing.
Should every locality get its own page?
Only where you have a real centre or a real reason to serve it. Pages that only swap the place name read as filler. One honest page per centre is stronger.
What if a competitor has more reviews?
Do not chase the number. Reply to every review, ask finishing students regularly and keep the profile accurate. We track your profile against nearby institutes so the gap is visible.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
