Special education schools · Local SEO

Show up on the map for families who must travel to your school every day.

Local SEO for a special school puts the school on Google Maps and in local search for the areas families can travel from each day. GullySales sets up and maintains the Google Business Profile, the address details and the area pages, with no promise of position.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For special education schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Daily travel decides the shortlist”

A special school is a journey made every day, with a transport arrangement to make, so a school across the city is ruled out before its quality is weighed. The map listing needs to show the area served and the route, not only a pin.

  • “A pin in the wrong place sends a family to the wrong gate”

Campuses with a separate entrance for the therapy block or the early years room confuse a family already anxious. Accurate entrance details, a landmark and a note on where to park spare a distressing first arrival.

  • “Photographs on a profile need consent”

Photos of classrooms, sensory rooms and play areas reassure a parent, but a child's face does not belong on a public listing without written consent. Rooms, materials and staff at work carry the message on their own.

What we do

What we deliver for special education schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and upkeep

The profile created or claimed, with the right type, hours, description and the needs the school serves in plain words.

Result: The profile describes the school the way the front desk would.

  2. Service area and transport notes

A note of the neighbourhoods the school serves and how children travel, kept the same across the profile and the site.

Result: A parent can see whether the journey is possible.

  3. Entrance and arrival guide

Directions, landmark, parking and which gate to use for a first visit, written for an anxious arrival.

Result: A family reaches the correct gate on the first visit.

  4. Room and materials photo set

Photographs of classrooms, therapy rooms and play areas with no child identifiable, uploaded to the profile.

Result: The profile shows the school without showing a child.

  5. Area pages for neighbourhoods

Short pages for the localities families travel from, each linking to the need pages and the visit step.

Result: Each page names a locality and the route to the school.

  6. Questions and answers on the profile

The questions parents ask first, answered on the profile in short, plain text.

Result: The first questions are answered before the call.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these special education schools.

  • Schools for children on the autism spectrum
  • Schools for children with intellectual disabilities
  • Schools for hearing-impaired and speech-impaired children
  • Schools for visually impaired children
  • Schools for children with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities
  • Schools and centres for specific learning disabilities
  • Inclusive schools with a resource room or special educators
  • Early intervention centres that feed into a special school

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the profile list the needs we serve?
Yes, in plain words in the description and services, using the school's own terms, checked by your clinicians. Leave out any claim about outcomes, and check the platform's current rules for listing wording.
What if a parent leaves a harsh review?
Reply politely, without naming the child or discussing the case in public, and offer a phone call. Do not offer anything in return for reviews. Check the platform's current rules, and your trustees' view, on how the school responds.
Do we need local pages if we have a profile?
The profile answers the map search. Area pages answer the longer search from a parent comparing schools by need and locality, and give them somewhere to read before they call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
