EdTech startups · Website

Give the school, the parent and the college each a page that answers them.

A website for an EdTech startup has to serve a principal weighing a pilot, a parent looking at a child's study, and sometimes a college buyer, without confusing any of them. GullySales plans the pages, the proof and the data handling statement, then builds or fixes them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For EdTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One home page cannot greet three buyers”

A principal wants the pilot process, a parent wants the class and the demo, and a college wants the outcome for placement. A home page that tries all three gives each a paragraph and none a path, so the first screen should ask which they are.

  • “A school looks for the data page before the price”

Schools ask where student data lives, who can see it and how it is deleted. A clear page answering these, checked by your counsel, removes a question that otherwise stalls the pilot.

  • “A demo page must show the product, not describe it”

Parents decide faster when they see a real screen from a session. Screenshots and a short walk-through, with no child's face or name on them, show the product without a promise.

  • “Parents browse on the phone, often at night”

Most demo forms are filled on a mobile after the child sleeps. A slow page or a long form loses the parent, so the form asks only for a number, a class and a convenient time.

What we do

What we deliver for EdTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Route-based home page

A home page that sends school leaders, parents and colleges to their own sections within the first screen.

Result: Each buyer reaches a relevant page in one tap.

  2. Pilot and institution page

A page covering what a pilot is, what the school provides, teacher training and the decision at the end.

Result: A principal can read the pilot terms before writing to you.

  3. Data and privacy page

A plain statement of what data the product collects, why, who sees it and how a parent or school can ask for deletion, reviewed by your counsel.

Result: A school or parent can find the answer without emailing.

  4. Parent demo page

    A mobile-first page with a session walk-through and a short booking form.

Result: A parent can book a demo in a few taps.

  5. Proof section with consent

Space for school names, quotes and pilot notes, filled only where written approval exists.

Result: Every name and quote on the site has approval on file.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Give the principal, the parent and the college a page each, because each arrives with a different search.

learning platform for schools demo
A schools page with the pilot steps, the teacher training and a booking form. Leave parent pricing off this page, so the principal is not confused.
price of online maths tuition for class 8
A parents page with the plan, what is included and how to start. State the fee as it stands and update the page when the fee changes.
student data privacy in learning apps
A data page in plain words on what is stored and who sees it. Have it checked by someone qualified, and link it from every sign-up form.
skilling programme for degree colleges
A page for placement heads with the batch format and the certificate. State the approvals you hold exactly as they appear on the certificate.
free trial class for kids online
A trial page with the age band, the time options and the consent line. Keep the form short, so the parent can finish it on a phone.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The product is still changing every week, so detailed pages would be out of date before a school reads them.
  • There is no one to answer the form enquiries, so a better site would only collect more unanswered requests.
  • The startup has not written its data and privacy position, so the pages would be built around a gap a principal will ask about.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new website or a fix?
We look at the current site first. If the structure serves each buyer, we fix pages; if not, we plan a rebuild around the routes.
What should the data page say?
What you collect, why, who can see it, where it is stored and how to request deletion. Your own counsel should confirm it matches your practice and the rules.
Can we list schools as clients?
Only with the school's written permission to be named. A pilot is not the same as a purchase, so describe it as a pilot.
Do we need separate sites for schools and for parents?
One site with separate pages is enough. The principal and the parent search for different things, so give each a clear entry from the home page. Separate sites double the upkeep and split the search presence, which a small team cannot manage well.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
