Fabric shops and retailers · Lead generation

She asked for a green cotton, and the reply came four hours later.

Lead generation for a cloth shop is the photograph enquiry, the curtain measurement visit and the tailor who has quietly stopped ordering. GullySales photographs the shelf so a reply takes a minute, books the measurement on the call, and keeps a book of every trade account.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For fabric shops and retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The enquiry dies in a rack search

A message asking for one shade turns into an hour of hunting, and by the time the photograph goes out she has bought elsewhere.

  • The curtain visit is the whole lead

Nobody orders curtains from a message, and a measurement not booked while the caller is on the line is never booked at all.

  • A trade account you already had is the cheapest lead

A stitching unit that took a thaan every fortnight stopped in April, and nobody rang because there is no list to notice it on.

What we do

What we deliver for fabric shops and retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The running stock photographed and indexed

Every design shot in daylight against a plain sheet and tagged by fabric, colour, width and rate band, in a catalogue the staff can search.

Result: A reply goes out in a minute rather than an evening.

  2. Saved replies for the questions that repeat

This colour in cotton, the rate per metre and whether a cut piece can be couriered, each answered with a photograph and a line on the shade.

Result: Nobody waits until closing for a one-line answer.

  3. A measurement visit booked on the call

A slot offered while the caller is still on the line, with the address taken and a reminder sent, instead of a promise to call back.

Result: Curtain enquiries reach a measurement.

  4. A trade account book with reorder prompts

Every tailor, boutique, curtain stitcher and uniform contractor listed with what they buy, how often and when they last did.

Result: You hear an account has gone quiet in weeks, not at Diwali.

  5. The institution list with order months

Schools, hotels, hospitals and factories nearby, with the month each one fixes its uniform lot and the person who signs it off.

Result: You reach the committee before it decides.

  6. An enquiry register split retail and trade

Every call, message and walk-in recorded by source and by kind, so a thaan question is not answered like a two-metre one.

Result: The trade buyer stops being the one who leaves.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

  • Curtain, sofa and upholstery fabric houses
  • Wholesale cloth merchants supplying tailors and boutiques

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for fabric shops and retailers

  1. 1

    Follow a week of enquiries

In the free audit we trace one week of calls, messages and walk-ins: who replied, how long it took, and which of them ever reached the counter.

  2. 2

    Photograph and list the stock

The running designs shot properly and organised by fabric, colour and rate band, so a question can be answered with one picture instead of a search.

  3. 3

Fix the reply and the quotation

Saved replies for the questions that repeat, and a follow-up date on every curtain and uniform quotation that leaves the shop.

  4. 4

    Bring the buyers in

Maps and local search for people looking nearby, an occasion calendar for the shop, and direct outreach to tailors, designers and institutions.

  5. 5

Keep the accounts and count the result

Reorder prompts for trade accounts, messages to past buyers before their occasion, and a monthly report set against the baseline recorded at the start.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Photographing the whole shop sounds impossible. Where do we start?
With the designs you hold in depth and can supply again next month. Fifty done properly beat five hundred done badly. Add each new lot as it is opened and the catalogue builds itself.
Our staff already reply on WhatsApp. What changes?
The speed, and what goes into the reply. A saved answer carrying a daylight photograph, the width and the rate band ends the conversation in one message. Most shops send four pictures and a question.
The shade looks different on a phone. How do we sell cloth on WhatsApp?
Shoot in daylight against a white sheet, never under a tube light, and put the weave and the width next to the photograph. Say plainly that the shade may read differently on a screen, and courier a cut sample to anyone buying in quantity. Buyers stop asking once they learn your pictures are honest.
Should we put a rate per metre online?
Put a band for each quality rather than a fixed figure, and keep thaan rates off the page. A shopper who sees a range walks in already knowing whether your shop suits her budget. The trade rate belongs in the quotation, not on the website.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
