Financial planning firms · Lead generation

Bring in families who want a plan, not a fund tip.

Lead generation for a planning firm means reaching families at the moment a life event makes them ask for help, and screening for those who want a written plan. GullySales works on the enquiry routes, the first form and the way each lead is recorded by source.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For financial planning firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry arrives as a product question”

The caller asks which fund to buy. A planner who answers the question as asked wins a transaction at best. The better enquiry is the one where the form or the first call turns the question into school fees, a home loan and a parent's care.

  • “Life events are the real trigger”

A first child, a bonus, a new loan or an inheritance sends a family searching. Pages and posts written around those events meet the family at the moment of need, which a general page about wealth does not.

  • “One partner enquires, two decide”

The person who writes in is rarely the only decision maker. A lead route that asks for both partners at the first meeting saves the planner from building a plan one of them never agreed to.

  • “Leads with no source recorded teach nothing”

If the firm cannot say whether a family came from a talk, a referral or a search, the next rupee of effort is a guess. Recording the source at the first call is a small habit that decides where effort goes.

What we do

What we deliver for financial planning firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Life-event enquiry pages

One page for each event that sends a family to a planner, each ending in a short form that asks about goals before products.

Result: The firm can point to a page for each event it serves.

  2. A goals-first enquiry form

A short form that asks what the family wants to achieve and who will attend, and does not ask which fund they hold.

Result: Enquiries arrive with goals written in the family's own words.

  3. Both-partners booking message

A reply that invites both partners to the first meeting and says what to bring.

Result: The first meeting is booked with two people, not one.

  4. Source record for every lead

A simple sheet or CRM field showing where each enquiry came from and what happened next.

Result: The owner can see which routes produced signed plans.

  5. Talk and community session kit

An outline, invitation and follow-up note for sessions at employers and housing societies, checked against your registration's rules.

Result: A talk has a defined way to turn attendees into first meetings.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can you promise a number of leads?
No. Leads depend on your area, your fee and the number of families looking. We build the routes and the record, and we show what each route produces so you can decide where to spend effort.
Should we buy leads from a list?
We do not build lead plans around bought lists. A family that never asked for a planner is a poor first meeting for a trust business, and messaging rules apply. Check the current rules and your own compliance adviser before any outreach.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
