Fintech companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a borrower, investor or bank officer finds when they search.

SEO for a fintech company is the work of making the site and the store listing appear when people search for a loan, a way to start investing, a policy or software for lenders. GullySales maps the searches for each audience and writes pages your compliance head can approve.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For fintech companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The searcher is anxious, not curious”

Someone typing a question about a loan app is checking whether it is safe. A page that names the partner lender, the registration and the grievance route answers the real query. A page about innovation does not.

  • “Financial pages are read with extra scrutiny”

Search engines treat money topics carefully, so thin or unsourced pages struggle. Authorship, clear sourcing, an About page with real people and plain explanations of terms give a fintech site a better footing than keyword-heavy copy.

  • “Two audiences need two sets of pages”

A shop owner searching for working capital and a CTO searching for loan origination software never want the same page. Mixing them on one URL weakens both. Separate sections, with separate titles and separate calls to action, keep each search honest.

What we do

What we deliver for fintech companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map for users and institutions

A list of the questions borrowers, investors and lender teams type, grouped by the page that should answer each.

Result: Every important question has a named page.

  2. Product and explainer pages

Plain pages for each product and for the terms users ask about, written in the user's words and cleared by compliance.

Result: Each page answers one question with a named partner and a grievance route.

  3. Store listing optimisation

App name, description and screenshots that carry the words users search for inside the Play Store and App Store.

Result: The listing uses the phrases found in the search map.

  4. Technical fixes

Page speed on mobile, indexing of product pages, structured data and clean internal links between the explainers and the product.

Result: The site audit shows fewer errors on product pages.

  5. A page-by-page review with compliance

A table of every claim on every page with the approver's name, so edits do not reopen old debates.

Result: Compliance reviews a list, not a site.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we rank for loan keywords against large banks?
Do not compete head to head on the broadest terms. Target the specific need, such as a small business owner's working capital, and win the pages where you can be the clearest. GullySales does not promise a ranking.
Do reviews affect search?
The store rating shapes the install decision, and review content shapes trust on the site. We treat them as part of the same job: answer complaints, fix the cause, and keep the product page honest.
Does our compliance review slow SEO down?
It adds a step, so we write pages in a form compliance can approve once and reuse. A pre-approved set of claims and disclaimers means new pages start from approved language.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
