Forex and currency exchange dealers · Local SEO

Be the nearest authorised dealer a traveller or parent can find on the map.

Local SEO for a forex dealer is the work of making each outlet's map listing complete, current and answered, since customers choose a dealer close to them or to the airport. GullySales works on listings, reviews and details that show the outlet is genuine.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Last updated 22 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For forex and currency exchange dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Customers judge a money changer in seconds”

A person about to hand over cash looks for photographs of a real counter, a street address and reviews from recent customers. A thin listing looks like a risk. Add photographs of the counter and the way in.

  • “Airport and city outlets confuse the map”

A counter in a terminal, a branch near a college and an office in a market each need their own listing. A single merged profile sends people to the wrong place. Name each listing for its place, such as the terminal or the neighbourhood.

  • “Reviews carry the trust that the rate cannot”

A recent customer saying the staff explained the form is more persuasive than a better rate. Reviews that mention documents and clarity matter in this trade.

  • “Hours matter more than usual”

Travellers fly at all hours and students leave at short notice. A listing that is wrong about opening time sends a customer to a competitor with the cash in hand. Update special hours before a long weekend or festival.

What we do

What we deliver for forex and currency exchange dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing for every outlet

Own name, address, phone, hours and photographs for each counter.

Result: The map sends customers to the right door.

  2. Photographs of the counter and signage

Your own pictures of the outlet and the display of authorisation, without any customer in frame.

Result: A nearby customer sees a real, visible dealer.

  3. A review request at the counter

A short ask made when the transaction completes, with a link on a card or phone.

Result: Recent reviews come from real customers.

  4. Replies to every review

Calm written answers to praise and complaints, never discussing a customer's details.

Result: A hesitant reader sees how you handle problems.

  5. A check on name and details across the web

Your name, address and phone matched everywhere.

Result: Search engines trust one version of the outlet.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we mention rates on the listing?
Check with your adviser first. Rules on what a dealer may state change. Use the listing for services, hours and documents. Rules change, so keep the listing to hours, services and documents.
Is it fine to ask for reviews?
Yes, without any inducement, and with attention to the platform's current rules. Never offer a better rate for a review. Ask in person and avoid pressure.
What if a competitor uses our name?
Report it through the platform's process and keep your own listing accurate. Take advice if the matter is serious. Take advice if a false use of your name causes harm.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
