General insurance agencies · Website

Give a trader one clear page for their premises and one way to ask for a visit.

A website for a general insurance agency shows which covers you place, which premises you know and how to start a proposal. GullySales plans and writes the pages and builds in the forms and phone prompts that bring enquiries to your team.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For general insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A product list does not help a godown owner”

A buyer wants to see their own premises named. A page titled for godowns or clinics tells them they are in the right place.

  • “Visitors want to know who they will meet”

In a trust trade, the agent's name, experience and licence details matter. Show who will visit and how to reach them.

  • “A long form drives away a busy trader”

Asking for GST details, stock figures and building plans on a first form loses the visitor. Ask for name, number and premises, and collect the rest in a call.

  • “Licence and insurer details must be correct”

A site with outdated licence or insurer information is a regulatory risk. Check what an agency must display with your own adviser.

What we do

What we deliver for general insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Page structure by cover and premises

A site map with a page for each cover and each premises you serve.

Result: A visitor finds their own situation.

  2. Agent and licence information page

A page with your name, team and required details, checked by you.

Result: A visitor can see who they are dealing with.

  3. Short enquiry form

A form asking only what is needed to arrange a call.

Result: A busy trader can reach you without effort.

  4. Call and WhatsApp prompts

Visible buttons on every page for the two ways clients reach you.

Result: Contact is one tap away.

  5. Proposal document checklist page

A page listing what a proposal needs.

Result: Visitors arrive at the first call prepared.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How many pages does an agency site need?
One for each cover and premises you serve, plus about, contact and a few guides. GullySales sizes it to your list.
What must an agency website show?
Requirements differ by regulator and insurer. Check with your own compliance adviser, and GullySales will build in what you confirm.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
