Forex trading firms · Customer retention

Keep the trader who has just had their first losing stretch.

Retention for a trading firm is the learner who stays after the first losses, the advisory subscriber who renews, and the traveller who returns to the same exchange counter. Most of them leave quietly at a low point. GullySales builds the conversation at that point and the renewal call before access stops.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What customer retention means

Customer retention is keeping an existing customer buying again rather than losing them to a competitor after the first purchase, usually cheaper than winning a new customer. GullySales sets a routine of check-ins and renewal reminders aimed at customers before they show signs of leaving.

For forex trading firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first losing run is when people walk away”

A learner who followed the method and still lost for a few weeks decides the firm oversold it. A conversation at exactly that point, about process rather than profit, keeps more of them than any discount does.

  • “A renewal that arrives as a payment link has already failed”

A subscriber who gets an invoice with no conversation reads it as a bill for something that did not work. The call comes first, and the link comes after it.

  • “Last year's beginner cohort is this year's advanced course”

You already know they paid, attended and finished. A firm that loses touch with its own alumni ends up advertising to strangers while the warm list goes cold.

What we do

What we deliver for forex trading firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A check-in built for the first losing stretch

A scheduled conversation with a learner about process, discipline and what went wrong, with nothing said about expected returns.

Result: A discouraged learner talks to you instead of disappearing.

  2. A renewal conversation before access ends

A call placed while the subscription is still running, so the decision is made with a person rather than with a payment reminder.

Result: A subscriber renews after a conversation, not after a billing email.

  3. An alumni record and an honest next step

A list of who finished which cohort, with a plain description of what the next programme adds for somebody at that level.

Result: Your advanced course sells to people who already trust you.

  4. A reason for the exchange customer to come back

For a money changing or remittance counter, the customer's last transaction saved and a message sent before the season they usually travel.

Result: A repeat traveller returns instead of comparing rates all over again.

  5. An exit question for anybody who leaves

One short, honest question to the subscriber who did not renew, with the answers recorded so the pattern becomes visible.

Result: You find out why people leave while you can still act on it.

How the result is measured

  • Retention rate
  • Repeat purchase rate
  • Customers won back

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Work it out from your records

Your enrolment, subscription and counter records show where learners and customers drop away.

Learners who joined the next course
List learners who finished a course and mark who took the next one or stayed in the community. Keep beginners and advanced learners apart, since they leave for different reasons.
Attendance before the last session
For each learner note the last session attended and the usual pattern before it. Someone who stopped attending after a losing stretch in their own practice needs a call from the trainer.
Subscribers by access end date
List advisory or research subscribers by the date their access ends. Mark who renewed, who lapsed and who asked about leaving, so the conversation comes before the payment link.
Exit reasons from those who leave
Ask each leaver why and write what they said: cost, time, a loss, another provider. Group the answers and read the loss group with care, since the response there is regulated.
Counter customers who bought before
For an exchange counter, list customers on record from earlier purchases, as the KYC rules require you to keep them. Note who came back before their next trip and who did not.
Refund and complaint requests by stage
Note when in the course or subscription each refund or complaint arose. A cluster at one point shows where expectations were set wrongly, and that is a fix in your own sales copy.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the customer retention work runs

  1. 1

    Assess current retention

A first read of current retention rate, existing tactics and where they are or are not coordinated.

  2. 2

    Build the strategy

A written plan developed covering priority segments, touchpoints and a measurable target.

  3. 3

    Align existing tactics

Current retention activities mapped against the strategy and adjusted to work together rather than independently.

  4. 4

    Track toward the target

Retention tracked against the goal, with the strategy adjusted as results come in.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we discount to keep a subscriber who is leaving?
Rarely. If the service did not suit them, a cheaper version will not either, and they will leave later while telling people your price is negotiable. Find out what they expected before you talk about money.
How do we keep learners around after the course ends?
Give them something useful that costs them nothing: a doubt-clearing session, access to recordings, a plain market recap. Keep every word of it inside what your registration allows you to say.
Can we message past learners about a new batch if they never asked?
Only if they agreed to hear from you. Check the consent on the enrolment form and honour any do-not-disturb registration. Give an easy way to stop messages. Rules for this trade differ by regulator and change, so check with your compliance adviser.
A subscriber says he lost money following our advice and wants to leave. How do we respond?
Stay factual and polite. Point to the risk disclosures you published, do not promise to recover losses and do not argue about the result. Record the conversation and take it to your compliance person. Then ask what you could have explained better.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
