Forex trading firms · Referral marketing

Ask the learner who finished to introduce one person, not ten.

Referral for a trading firm is a satisfied learner or a corporate client introducing somebody who is already sceptical. Where advertising is restricted, it is the channel that still works. GullySales builds the ask and the introduction, and tells you where to check whether a fee is permitted at all.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What referral marketing means

Referral marketing is asking an existing customer to recommend you to someone they know, usually with a reward for both sides. It differs from a loyalty scheme because it brings in a new customer rather than a repeat purchase. GullySales builds the ask and the reward into a point where a customer is already satisfied.

For forex trading firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Whether you may pay for an introduction is not a marketing question”

Fees and commissions for bringing in clients are restricted for registered intermediaries, the position differs by registration, and it changes. Your compliance adviser answers this before anybody designs a scheme with money in it.

  • “The introduction has to survive being forwarded”

It lands on somebody who has already been burnt by a Telegram signal group. Give your learner something plain to paste in: what you teach, what you are registered as, and what you never claim.

  • “An accountant refers hedging work, not courses”

The auditor who watches an importer lose money on currency movement is a better source of hedging enquiries than any advertisement. They will pass your material on only if it is dull enough to be safe.

What we do

What we deliver for forex trading firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An ask timed to the end of a cohort

The referral request made when a learner has just finished and can describe what changed, rather than in their first week.

Result: You ask at the point the learner has something to say.

  2. A forwardable introduction written for a sceptic

A short note a learner can paste into a message, naming what you teach, your registration, and the promises you do not make.

Result: The person receiving it can check you before replying.

  3. A written position on referral fees

Your compliance adviser's answer on what may and may not be offered for an introduction, recorded so nobody in sales invents an arrangement on a call.

Result: No salesperson offers a commission your registration does not allow.

  4. Outreach to accountants and finance managers

A contact list and a plain explainer for the auditors and finance managers who see currency exposure in their clients' books.

Result: Hedging enquiries arrive from people who already spotted the problem.

  5. A record of who introduced whom

The introducer's name captured against every enquiry, so the thanks reaches the right person and the pattern is visible.

Result: You know which learner or accountant is worth staying close to.

How the result is measured

  • Referrals received
  • Referral conversion rate
  • Cost per referred customer

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How referrals reach a forex firm

A forex firm is introduced by finished learners, accountants and finance heads, and the introduction has to survive a sceptic.

Learners who completed a cohort
Ask one learner for one introduction, someone who has already asked him about trading. Give him a short note on what the course teaches and what it does not, so he does not oversell.
Chartered accountants and finance heads
A finance head hedging import payments asks his accountant who advises on currency exposure. Send accountants a one-page note on whom you serve and what you do not advise on.
Exporter and importer associations
Members of an export council or trade chamber compare notes on rates and hedging. Offer an educational session on currency exposure, with no product pitch and no price list.
NRI families
Families who send money home talk to each other. Ask a client to introduce a relative, and write down the introduction and his consent before you contact anyone.
Who introduced whom
Record who introduced each prospect and what was said about your service, not what anyone earned. Check your registration for what records you must keep.
What never to do
Never ask a learner or client to share profit figures, screenshots or stories about returns. Check the current advertising rules for your registration before any referral scheme.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the referral marketing work runs

  1. 1

Understand your margin and customer relationship

We agree what reward is genuinely sustainable and appropriate for your business and customer type.

  2. 2

    Audit existing informal referrals

We check how much word of mouth already happens, to size expectations for the formal programme realistically.

  3. 3

    Design the offer and mechanism

A specific reward and an easy sharing method are built and tested.

  4. 4

    Implement and promote

The programme is surfaced at the right moments in your customer journey.

  5. 5

    Measure and adjust

We track referrals and conversions, adjusting the reward or promotion if uptake is low.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we run a refer-a-friend scheme with a cash reward?
Do not assume so. Paying for introductions is restricted for registered intermediaries and the detail depends on your own registration. Let your compliance adviser decide it, and keep their answer in writing.
When is the right moment to ask a learner for a referral?
When they have just finished something and said it was worth it. The end of a cohort, a renewal, or the day somebody tells you the risk lesson changed how they trade. Not in week one, when they have nothing to describe.
Can a learner who made money share his results to bring in others?
Do not ask for it. Trading results and returns are sensitive in advertising, and rules for firms in this field are strict and change, so check your registration and the current guidance. Let him introduce a person who has asked, and share only what the course teaches.
Can an accountant who sends us corporate clients receive a fee?
Professional bodies often restrict accountants from taking fees for recommending services, and the rules differ. Check with the accountant's institute and your own adviser before offering one. A useful alternative is a clear one-page note that helps him advise his client, and a record of the introduction.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
