Stock brokers · Local SEO
Be the office an investor can walk into with a file of certificates.
Local search is how an investor finds a broking office near them, which matters because the client who wants a person is the one an app cannot take. GullySales builds a Business Profile for each branch, with the registration shown and a way to book a visit.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For stock brokers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The walk-in is the whole point of having a branch”
An investor carrying a folder of physical certificates is not going to solve it inside an app. The map result is how she finds a desk to put the folder on.
“Authorised persons list themselves, often badly”
Each one creates a profile with his own name, his own hours and sometimes a claim head office would never approve. Left alone, those listings compete with your branch.
“Older investors search in a particular way”
A half-remembered firm name, a road, or simply share broker near me. Hours, a landline and a photograph of the board outside matter more than anything clever.
“A branch profile is a published statement about the firm”
What it says about services and registration falls under the same rules as any other advertisement by a member, so it goes through the same review.
What we do
What we deliver for stock brokers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A profile for every branch, claimed and complete
Address, hours, photographs of the office and the board outside, the services listed, and a phone number a person picks up.
Result: An investor can see a real office before setting out.
Registration details shown where they are read
Registration and exchange membership on the profile and the branch page, in the wording your compliance officer approves.
Result: The first thing a careful investor checks is there.
Authorised person listings brought into order
Every listing carrying your name found, corrected or claimed, with approved wording and the right relationship to a branch.
Result: Your name says the same thing everywhere.
Booking a branch visit made easy
An appointment route on the profile and the branch page for account opening, transmission paperwork and portfolio reviews.
Result: A visit gets fixed instead of postponed.
The counter's daily questions published
What to bring for a demat account, what a transmission needs, which days are busy, written into the profile's questions section.
Result: Branch staff answer fewer repeat calls.
Branch-level tracking of calls and visits
Calls, direction requests and appointments per branch, reported against the starting figures.
Result: You can tell which branch is invisible.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What Google weighs here
How an investor finds a broker's branch nearby, and what to fix first.
- Primary category
- Choose Stock broker or Financial services as it fits. Do not list yourself as Investment advisor or Wealth manager unless your registration allows it. The category on the profile is a public statement about what the firm is.
- Name as registered
- Use the firm's registered name and the branch address as on the registration. Put the registration details on the website where the regulator expects them. A branch under another name confuses an investor who checks.
- Authorised persons
- If an authorised person works under your firm, the profile should say so, with the broker's name. Check that each authorised person's listing, signboard and card show the same name and branch.
- Counter hours against market hours
- Show the hours the branch counter is open for account opening and documents, not the market's trading hours. An investor with a file of certificates wants to know when someone is there to take it.
- Replies to reviews
- Reply without discussing a client's account, trades, losses or returns. Thank them and give a branch contact. Rules on what a broker may say publicly change, so have the compliance officer approve the template.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the local SEO work runs
- 1
Audit every listing
We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.
- 2
Complete and correct
Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.
- 3
Build location pages
Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.
- 4
Set up review handling
A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.
- 5
Report and adjust
Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
