Furniture manufacturers · Follow up systems

The fit-out quote is not dead, it is waiting for the site to be ready.

A follow-up system for a furniture manufacturer decides what happens to the dealer who took your margin sheet at a fair and the office quote that went silent. Most go quiet for a reason on the buyer's side. GullySales sets the next contact against the site's stage and the dealer's own buying cycle.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

A pneumatic tube station on a panelled department-store wall: five brass tubes dropping from the ceiling to their hinged terminals, a wire basket slung under one of them with a carrier capsule just landed in it and the flap still open, a rack of spare capsules, a call bell on a bracket, a pressure gauge and a plain clock with no numerals

What follow up systems means

A follow-up system is the set routine for calling, messaging or emailing an enquiry more than once, since most buyers do not decide on the first conversation. GullySales sets the number and timing of follow-ups so an undecided buyer keeps hearing from you until they decide either way.

For furniture manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A project quote follows the civil work, not your diary”

An office or hotel order is released once flooring and false ceiling are done. Ask the contractor when handover is expected and diarise the call for that week, so your quotation is live when the order is finally placed.

  • “The dealer who took a catalogue at a fair needs a visit, not an email”

Cards collected at a furniture fair go cold within weeks. The ones that turn into accounts get a call while the fair is still fresh, then a rep at the showroom with the margin sheet and the minimum order in hand.

  • “Write down when to stop chasing a postponed project”

A hospitality project deferred by a year is not a lost enquiry. Park it with the expected restart date and the name of the contact who told you, instead of letting a rep privately decide it is dead.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Follow-up dates set against the site programme

Each project quotation carries the expected date of civil handover or fit-out start, taken from the contractor, and the next contact is scheduled from that.

Result: Your quote reaches the buyer in the week he can act on it.

  2. A worked follow-up run after every exhibition

Cards and dealer enquiries collected at a fair entered the same week, assigned to a rep, with the call and the showroom visit both scheduled.

Result: Stall spending turns into visits instead of a drawer of cards.

  3. A dealer contact routine between orders

A planned call or visit to each active dealer between reorders, carrying new models, scheme changes and a check on what is sitting unsold on his floor.

Result: You hear about a problem before he clears your shelf.

  4. A stop rule and a parked-project list

An agreed number of attempts, after which a quotation moves to a parked list with the reason and the date it should be picked up again.

Result: Nothing is abandoned quietly, and nothing is chased forever.

  5. One record of every quotation sent

Quotes from the owner, a rep or the office logged in one place with the value, the stage and the date of the next action.

Result: Two people stop calling the same buyer, or nobody calls him at all.

How the result is measured

  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Average number of follow-ups before close
  • Enquiries closed after repeat follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture manufacturers.

  • Modular kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers
  • Office furniture and workstation manufacturers
  • Home furniture manufacturers, sofas, beds and dining sets
  • Outdoor and garden furniture manufacturers
  • Custom and made-to-order carpentry units
  • Hospitality and hotel furniture contractors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At the end of the term

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for furniture manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how new dealers are approached, how the catalogue answers material and price questions, and how corporate tenders are currently quoted.

  2. 2

    Fix the dealer pipeline

A record of every dealer enquiry and prospect, and a routine for the sales team to follow up margin and credit-term discussions.

  3. 3

Build the catalogue that gets found

Product pages by category, material stated plainly, and a showroom locator for buyers who want to see a piece in person.

  4. 4

    Win corporate and hospitality contracts

A proposal format with sample pieces and past project references, used consistently for every tender enquiry.

  5. 5

    Grow both channels

Search visibility and content for direct buyers, and structured outreach with dealer incentives for the distribution side.

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our tender quote went quiet. How long do we keep calling?
Keep going until the buyer tells you the award is made, but change what you are calling about. A call offering a revised lead time or a sample piece gives the contact something to act on. A third call asking for an update gives him nothing.
How do we follow up a dealer without sounding desperate?
Call with something he can use: a new model in his price band, a scheme, or news that a piece he stocks is moving well in the next district. A dealer answers a call about his own floor and ignores one about your targets.
Do we need to market to dealers and to consumers differently?
Yes. A dealer decides on margin and whether your trucks arrive on time, so he needs a rep and a margin sheet. A consumer decides on material and finish, so she needs a catalogue page that answers those plainly.
How do we win a corporate furniture tender?
A prompt, complete proposal with a sample piece and a past project reference usually matters more than being the lowest quote. Buyers are wary of a cheap quote that cannot deliver on time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
