ENT hospitals · Buyer persona

Describe the parent, the adult patient and the referring doctor as three different buyers.

A buyer persona for an ENT hospital is a written profile of the person who decides on surgery or hearing care, who is not always the patient. GullySales works with your desk and surgeons to describe each buyer from the calls you have already taken.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For ENT hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The parent decides for a child and is anxious”

This buyer asks who the anaesthetist is, whether paediatric care exists and how long the child stays. The decision is shared with a partner and sometimes a grandparent. Writing to this buyer means answering fear first and features second.

  • “The adult with sinus trouble compares”

This buyer searches symptoms, reads reviews, then compares surgeons by name and quote. They are deciding between hospitals, not between treating and not treating. What they need is a reason to prefer one surgeon, set out in plain terms.

  • “The son or daughter of a person with hearing loss makes the call”

The patient may resist the idea of a hearing aid or implant. The caller carries the question home and has to explain it. Give this buyer something to forward, and a coordinator's name to ring back. Their worry is explaining it well at home.

  • “The referring doctor is a buyer too”

A paediatrician or clinic doctor chooses where to send a family. They want to know what you operate on, whether the surgeon will report back and how the family will be treated. Their trust is built by the hospital's replies, not by its advertising.

What we do

What we deliver for ENT hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets written from real calls

A page for each buyer, drawn from calls, forms and desk notes, with their questions in their own words.

Result: Each sheet reads like the buyers your desk speaks to.

  2. A record of who is on the call

A field in the enquiry log for who rang, who is deciding and who is paying.

Result: You can tell a parent's call from a grandparent's.

  3. The words each buyer uses

A short list of phrases each buyer uses for the problem, the operation and the worry, kept for writers and reception.

Result: Pages and replies use the buyer's own words.

  4. Routes made for each buyer

Website pages and message scripts arranged so a parent, an adult patient and a referrer each land on writing made for them.

Result: Each buyer reaches a page that speaks to them.

  5. A review with your surgeons

A sitting where surgeons read the sheets and correct anything that does not match the patients they see.

Result: The profiles are checked by the people who treat the patients.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a persona for every operation?
Start with the buyers who differ in what they ask: the parent, the adult patient, the family of a person with hearing loss and the referring doctor. Add a profile only where the questions truly change.
Where does the information come from?
From your own call notes, forms and desk conversations, shared with consent and without patient records. Nothing is invented, and nothing is drawn from outside data that does not describe your hospital.
How is a persona used day to day?
Reception uses it to ask the right first question. Writers use it to choose words. The coordinator uses it to decide what to send after surgical advice. A profile that nobody uses has not done its job.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
