General hospitals · WhatsApp marketing

Give families a WhatsApp number that a person at the hospital actually answers.

WhatsApp marketing for a general hospital begins with a business number that families use to ask about timings, doctors, schemes and procedures. GullySales plans who answers, what the replies say, and how consent is asked, without sending unrequested promotions.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For general hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The family messages because it cannot get through by phone”

At night the duty line is busy or unattended. A family sends a message instead and waits. If nobody is assigned to read it, the family decides the hospital is not responding and moves on.

  • “Scheme and insurance questions repeat all day”

Is my card accepted, which documents to bring and who handles the claim? Each is answered the same way. Saved replies written once, and approved by the administrator, spare the desk and give every family the same correct answer.

  • “Bulk promotion damages trust and breaks rules”

Sending offers to numbers collected at a camp or taken from a list is unwelcome and may breach consent rules. Messages go to people who asked for them, about matters they asked, and the platform's current rules apply.

  • “Groups and broadcasts need an owner”

Resident and employer groups can carry doctor-checked health information to every household in them. Without a named person who posts and removes outdated messages, the group fills with stale timings and wrong numbers.

What we do

What we deliver for general hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business set-up

A business profile with the hospital name, address, hours, emergency number and a greeting that states when the desk replies.

Result: A profile that matches the Maps listing.

  2. Saved replies for common questions

Approved answers on timings, OPD days, doctors, schemes and what to bring, in English and the local language.

Result: The desk replies to routine questions the same way each time.

  3. A night and busy-hour routine

Who reads messages at night, what the first reply says and where an urgent message goes, with the casualty number given at once.

Result: An urgent message reaches a person with a phone.

  4. Consent and opt-out wording

The line asking a family to agree to messages and the simple way to stop them.

Result: Each contact in the list agreed to be there.

  5. Doctor-checked broadcast messages

A short set of health messages for groups and consenting contacts, each approved by a named doctor before it is sent.

Result: No message goes out without a doctor's approval.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can the hospital send offers on WhatsApp?
Only to people who agreed to receive them, and subject to the platform's current rules and advertising rules that differ by profession and state. We recommend limiting messages to the patient's own care, camps and timings, and asking your adviser before anything promotional.
Should the casualty number be on the profile?
Yes. A family in distress needs the number that is answered. Put the emergency number in the profile and the first reply, and tell families that WhatsApp is not a place for emergencies. Anyone seriously ill should call.
Who should own the WhatsApp number?
One person from the front office, with a named backup. We write the replies and the routine, but the hospital owns the number and the phone. Staff changes should never leave the account without someone responsible.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
