Online pharmacies · Local SEO

Show the licensed store behind the app to the household that lives within delivery reach.

Local SEO for an online pharmacy is how the licensed premises, the delivery area and the phone line show up on Maps when someone nearby searches for a chemist that delivers. GullySales works on the profile, the area and the review replies that make a delivery-first business look like a real store.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For online pharmacies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The customer wants proof that a shop stands behind the app”

A name on a phone screen is not enough for someone about to hand over a prescription. Photographs of the licensed premises, the counter and the dispatch shelf tell them a pharmacist is in the building.

  • “A delivery radius is not the same as a service area”

Delivery cost climbs on some roads and drops on others. Setting the profile to the whole city invites enquiries from pin codes you cannot serve, while a tight map leaves paying customers out.

  • “An open-now result is won at night”

The searcher with a sick child at eleven in the evening picks the store marked open. Hours that are wrong, or that ignore the night counter, hand the order to whoever updated their profile.

  • “Reviews about a wrong or late delivery sit beside the rating”

A customer reading the pack sees one complaint about a substituted brand and decides. A public reply that explains what changed, and offers a call, answers the reader as well as the complainant.

What we do

What we deliver for online pharmacies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A profile that shows the licensed premises

Photographs of the shop front, counter and dispatch area, with opening hours, the store address and an answered number.

Result: The listing looks like the store a customer would find on foot.

  2. Delivery pin codes set from your own order record

A service area drawn from the pin codes you actually deliver to, reviewed against the cost of delivery.

Result: Maps shows you to households you can serve.

  3. Night and holiday hours kept current

Special hours entered for festivals and public holidays, and a rule on who updates them.

Result: A late search finds a store marked correctly.

  4. A reply routine for delivery complaints

A short, plain reply for late, wrong or substituted orders, with an offer to call and no personal health detail in public.

Result: Complaints are answered where the next customer reads them.

  5. One profile per store

A separate listing for each licensed premises, with its own photographs, hours and delivery area.

Result: The nearest store is the one that appears.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we list a dark store or warehouse with no counter?
Check the platform's current rules on listing premises that do not receive visitors. A pharmacy's licensed premises and its dispatch space may need different treatment, so confirm with your pharmacist and the platform before adding a listing.
Should our reviews mention medicines by name?
Do not ask for it and do not reply in a way that confirms what someone bought. Keep replies general, offer a call, and leave health details out of public view.
Do we need a profile if we only deliver and never have walk-ins?
If you have licensed premises with a staffed counter, a profile helps nearby households find you. If you have none, check the platform's rules before you create one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
