Online pharmacies · Social media

Use social media to show the people and the process behind the delivery box.

Social media marketing for an online pharmacy is the use of posts, short videos and paid reach to show how ordering works and who stands behind it. GullySales works on a plan that keeps clear of treatment claims and drug advertising while building familiarity with the households you serve.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For online pharmacies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A pharmacy post cannot promise what a medicine does”

Social media rewards bold claims, and a pharmacy cannot make them. The content that stays safe describes how ordering, checking and delivery work, and leaves the medicine itself to the prescribing doctor.

  • “The follower may be the family, not the patient”

An adult child watching from another city follows to see whether the pharmacy is real and careful. Posts about the packing table, the pharmacist's check and the delivery route answer that watcher.

  • “A discount post attracts the wrong crowd”

Price-led posts bring buyers who compare apps daily and leave the same day. Posts that explain a refill reminder or a prescription upload attract households who value being remembered.

  • “Comments become a medical question line”

People ask about doses and side effects in the comments. Without a rule, someone replies. A fixed reply that points to the pharmacist by phone and to the doctor keeps the page safe.

What we do

What we deliver for online pharmacies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan around ordering and checking

Post ideas about how a prescription is verified, how a substitute is explained and how a refill list is kept, none of which advertise a drug.

Result: A plan your pharmacist can read and approve in one sitting.

  2. A comment and message reply rule

Written wording for dosage questions, side-effect worries and price complaints, pointing the person to the pharmacist and the doctor.

Result: Whoever runs the page has the same safe reply to hand.

  3. Short videos of the process

Scripts for the packing table, the delivery handover and the pharmacist desk, shot without any customer or prescription in view.

Result: Footage that shows the work and exposes no one's health.

  4. Paid reach for the family audience

Meta ads aimed at adult children and senior citizen groups in your delivery area, kept to ordering and service messages.

Result: Ads run only on the messages your pharmacist has approved.

  5. A platform rules check

A list of the advertising policies you must read for pharmacy and health, noted with the date you checked them.

Result: You can see which rules were reviewed and when.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these online pharmacies.

  • Online stores for surgical consumables and home care items beside medicines
  • Corporate and insurer tie-up pharmacies serving employee health programmes
  • Specialty pharmacies for diabetes, cardiac and elderly care lists

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post offers on medicines?
Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser before you post any offer on medicines. Posts about delivery areas, ordering help and reminders carry far less risk than price offers.
Should the pharmacist appear in our videos?
Only if the pharmacist agrees, and only to explain the process. Leave out any claim about what a medicine will do for a viewer.
Can we repost a customer's thanks for a delivery?
Do not repost anything that touches on a patient's health, a medicine or a condition. Thank the person privately and keep the page to the work.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
