Alteration shops · Website

Tell the customer what you alter, what it costs and how to send the photo.

A website for an alteration shop is a small set of pages that tell a stranger what you take, what it costs and how to reach you. GullySales works on the pages, the photographs and the WhatsApp button that turn a visitor into a garment on the counter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For alteration shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor wants three answers”

Do you do this job, roughly what does it cost, and can I send a photo. A site that opens with a story about the shop's history, before any of the three, loses the person standing with a garment in hand.

  • “The phone is the screen”

The visitor arrives on a mobile, from the map listing or a forwarded link. Pages must load easily on a modest connection, show the number to tap and open WhatsApp in one touch. A page that makes the visitor hunt for the number loses the visitor.

  • “Pages by job beat one long page”

A separate short page for blouse and lehenga work, suit and trouser fitting, and uniform alterations matches each search and lets the visitor see photographs of that exact kind of work. Each job page also gives the shop one more way to be found.

  • “A site without upkeep goes stale”

A festival offer left up in January or hours that changed in the summer make the shop look closed. The site needs a few fields the counter can edit, not a developer on call.

What we do

What we deliver for alteration shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A job-by-job page structure

Pages for each major job, a price guide, a contact page and a page for the area served.

Result: A page for each job you want customers to ask for.

  2. A WhatsApp and call button on every page

A button that opens the business chat with the garment details prompt, and a tap-to-call number.

Result: A visitor can reach you from any page in one touch.

  3. A gallery of finished work

Before-and-after photographs in daylight, labelled by job, added with customers' permission.

Result: A gallery that shows the quality of the work.

  4. A price guide page

The shop's own starting figures for common jobs and what changes the price.

Result: Prices on the site match prices at the counter.

  5. A simple way to edit

A short guide so the counter can change hours, festival notices and photographs.

Result: The shop can update the site without outside help.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a website if I am on Google Maps?
The listing wins the nearby search, and a site wins the searches that name a garment and gives you a place to show prices and work. Both help, and the listing comes first.
Should I show prices online?
Show starting figures for the common jobs if you are comfortable with them. It filters out time-wasting enquiries and starts the conversation at a fair point.
Can I take bookings through the site?
A request form that lands on WhatsApp is enough for a shop of this size. A full booking system is worth adding only when the slot book is busy enough to need it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
