Handyman and home maintenance services · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a flat owner finds when the tap is leaking and the plumber has not turned up.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a handyman or home maintenance business means having a page for each job people search, in each area you actually serve. GullySales writes pages for jobs such as geyser repair, wall seepage and modular kitchen fixes, and traces each call back to the page that produced it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For handyman and home maintenance services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One page called Services serves nobody”

A person searching for ceiling leak repair in Whitefield does not read a page that lists plumbing, painting, carpentry and electrical in one paragraph.

  • “Areas are written as a list of pin codes”

A page that names thirty localities in one line looks like a trick to Google and means nothing to a flat owner. Fewer places with real detail work better.

  • “The page has no way to book a visit”

The visitor finds the job described well, then has to hunt for a number. Most go back and tap the next result.

What we do

What we deliver for handyman and home maintenance services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A job-by-job page plan

A list of the jobs you most want, such as tap and pipe leaks, switchboard faults, door and lock repair, grouted tile repair and bathroom waterproofing, each with its own page.

Result: Every job you want more of has a page built to be found.

  2. Pages written from real visits

Each page uses what your technicians actually find: the usual cause, what is repaired on the spot and what needs a second visit, in plain words.

Result: A visitor reads something that could only come from someone who has done the job.

  3. Area pages for the places you serve

A page per area or apartment cluster you visit, naming real roads and societies, and the time your team can reach them.

Result: A flat owner sees that you work in their neighbourhood.

  4. A booking step on every page

A call button, a WhatsApp link and a short form asking for the area, the job and a photograph.

Result: The visitor can book without leaving the page.

  5. Search report traced to calls

Calls and WhatsApp messages recorded against the page they came from, set against the baseline taken before work began.

Result: You see which pages bring work and which only bring visitors.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches a flat owner or a landlord types, and the page that answers each.

Job plus place, such as geyser repair in HSR Layout
Give it its own page for the job and the area. Name the geyser makes you service and say whether you replace the element or the whole unit.
Symptom searches, such as water leaking from ceiling
The person does not know the job name yet. Write a page that describes the symptom, the likely causes and when a plumber, a waterproofing team or the apartment association is the right call.
Urgent searches, such as electrician near me tonight
Answer with a page showing your hours, the areas you reach and a call button. If you do not take night calls, say so, and do not build the page.
Annual maintenance searches, such as home AMC for flat
A separate page for those who want someone on call through the year. List what a visit covers and what is charged apart, without prices.
Landlord and PG owner searches
A property manager looks for someone who handles many rooms at once. A page for repairs in rented flats and PGs, with how invoices and photographs are shared, speaks to them.
Searches not worth a page
Do it yourself and how to videos bring people who will not book. Write them only if the answer sends the reader to you for the second step.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a page for every job?
Only for the jobs you want more of. A page for a job you do twice a year dilutes the site. Start with the five or six that fill your calendar, and add a page when a job shows up in your enquiry sheet more than once.
Should the site list the areas we serve?
Yes, but name the areas where you can actually reach a customer without losing the day to traffic. A short list with real roads and societies beats a long list of pin codes.
Is a blog worth it for a repair business?
Only if each post answers a question a customer asks before calling, such as why a wall is damp after rain. Posts written to fill a calendar bring readers who never book.
Who owns the website and the domain?
You do. The domain and the hosting account should be in your name or the firm's, with the login on paper. If an agency holds it, you cannot leave them without losing the site.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
