Handyman and home maintenance services · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the searches that become a visit booked, and keep out the ones that only become an enquiry about a job.

Pay per click (PPC) advertising for a handyman business means paying Google when someone clicks an ad for a job like pipe repair or fan installation near them. GullySales builds the ads, blocks job seekers and tutorial searches, and counts only calls and bookings that became a site visit.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For handyman and home maintenance services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Job seekers click as much as customers”

Searches like plumber job or electrician vacancy cost the same click as a customer search. Without blocks, a good share of the spend goes on people who want work, not repairs.

  • “Ads run when the team is on another job”

A call at four in the afternoon rings out because both technicians are inside a flat. The click is paid for and the customer has moved on.

  • “The ad promises a service the team does not do”

A click for AC gas refill reaches a firm that does only plumbing and carpentry, and the enquiry is a waste of both sides.

What we do

What we deliver for handyman and home maintenance services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by job

Separate campaigns for plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting, each with its own ads and its own page.

Result: Spend follows the job you have capacity for.

  2. A list of searches to block

Words such as job, vacancy, salary, course, training, how to, DIY and free, added from the start and kept growing from the real search report.

Result: Spend stops going on searches that never become a customer.

  3. Call times matched to the team

Ads switched on for the hours someone picks up and for the areas the team can reach on that day.

Result: Callers reach a person, not a ringing phone.

  4. A landing page for each job

A page for the job clicked, with the area, the call button and a short form with a photo upload.

Result: A customer who clicked for geyser repair lands on geyser repair.

  5. Call and booking tracking

Call tracking and a record of each enquiry through to a visit booked and a job done.

Result: You see what each rupee of spend produced in visits, not clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for at a repair business, and the ones to keep out.

Urgent searches, such as plumber near me or electrician urgent
Bid, with a call button, and only in hours when the phone is answered. This customer calls the first number that answers, so a missed call costs the lead.
Job and area searches, such as geyser repair in Indiranagar
Bid on the job with the area. Send the click to a page about that job and that area. These are the steadiest searches for a team that works near its base.
Planned work, such as bathroom waterproofing or wardrobe fixing
Bid on a separate campaign. The customer compares two or three quotes, so the page should say what the visit includes and offer to send a technician to measure.
Job seekers, trainers and shops
Block plumber job, electrician vacancy, ITI, course, training, wholesale, spare parts and shop. These clicks cost money and cannot become a repair booking.
Where the click lands
Send it to a page for that job with a call button and a WhatsApp link. Do not send it to the home page, which lists everything and answers nothing.
Counting a real enquiry
Count an answered call or a message that names a job and an area. Then count a visit made and a job done. Mark the calls from outside your area as lost, not as leads.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on our own firm's name?
Yes, in a small campaign. A customer who got your card from a neighbour searches the name, and a directory or competitor can show above you. Keep it small and watch it.
Is a call-only ad better than a form for repairs?
For urgent work, yes. A person with a leak wants to talk, not fill in a form. For planned work like waterproofing, a form with a photo upload saves a wasted first call.
How do we count calls that came from the ad?
Use a tracking number on the ad and the landing page, and log each call in your sheet as answered, missed or wrong area. Tell the person who answers to note the job and the area on every call.
Do ads help a team that is already fully booked?
No, and they can hurt. A customer you cannot visit leaves a poor review. Run ads for the jobs and areas where you have spare hours, and pause them when the diary is full.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
