HVAC companies · Review generation
Ask for the review while the room is cooling down.
Review generation for an HVAC company is asking at the point the unit starts working, which is the only moment the customer is delighted. GullySales puts the request in the technician's hands, writes the wording, and sets out what happens when a job has gone badly.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What review generation means
Review generation is the routine of asking satisfied customers to leave a Google or platform review at the moment they are happiest, rather than hoping they remember later. GullySales builds the request into your existing follow-up steps and tracks how many turn into a review.

For HVAC companies
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The technician holds the relationship, so the technician asks”
A customer who has just watched a man fix their AC in the heat will say yes to him. The same request from an office number the next day is ignored.
“Reviews are read for whether you turned up”
Nobody reads an HVAC review for technical opinion. They are checking whether the company came when it said it would, and whether the price changed at the end.
“A review written in April is worth three written in November”
The reviews at the top of your profile before summer decide the season. Ask hardest during the weeks when new customers are actually searching.
What we do
What we deliver for HVAC companies.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A request the technician makes before leaving the site
A short spoken ask and a link sent from the job sheet, once the unit is running and the customer has seen it working.
Result: The request lands at the only moment the customer is grateful.
Wording that gets the specifics into the review
A request that nudges the customer to mention the arrival time, the fault and the locality rather than asking for stars.
Result: The review reads like evidence to the next person searching.
A rule about which jobs are never asked
Warranty disputes, repeat visits for the same fault and jobs that ran over are flagged and left alone until the complaint is settled.
Result: You stop inviting the review you do not want.
A reply written for the complaint about a charge or a no-show
A short public answer that takes the argument offline, with the escalation path agreed inside the company beforehand.
Result: A bad review has an answer under it by the time it is read.
A concentrated push before the season
A round of requests timed to the pre-summer weeks, so the newest reviews are recent when demand peaks.
Result: A homeowner searching in April sees fresh reviews, not last year's.
Commercial reviews asked at the right level
A request to the facilities or admin head after a completed installation or a renewed contract, phrased for a business reader.
Result: Your profile carries proof that offices trust you, not only flats.
Review count, rating and recency read against the baseline
New reviews, the rating, the reply rate and how recent the newest ones are, measured against the baseline recorded before work started.
Result: You can see whether the asking holds up through the season.
How the result is measured
- Reviews received
- Average rating
- Response rate to requests
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Asking for reviews the right way
Ask in the minute after the compressor starts and the room is cooling, with the technician still at the door.
- Cool air at the vent
- Ask once the customer has felt the cool air and signed the job slip. A complaint-free visit ends there, and the review is easiest to give on the spot.
- A card in the technician's kit
- Give each technician a small card with a QR for the company page, and a saved link to send on WhatsApp. Nobody has to remember a web address.
- Installations and fixed faults only
- Ask after a new installation or a gas refill that solved the problem. A breakdown where the same fault returns, or an AMC visit that found nothing, is left alone.
- Brand, tonnage and room named
- Suggest the customer say the brand and the tonnage, such as a 1.5 ton split in a bedroom, and whether the technician arrived when promised.
- Chiller and VRF sites
- A facilities head will not post on Google. Ask for a short signed letter naming the plant, the capacity and the scope, and keep the public ask for residential customers.
- A tick box on the job card
- Add a box on the job card for review requested, so the supervisor can see which technicians ask and which do not, without chasing them on the phone.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the review generation work runs
- 1
Understand the customer journey
We identify one fixed point in your service, such as handover or checkout, where every customer is asked in the same way.
- 2
Read your current reviews
We read every review you have, count how many were answered, and note what customers praise in their own words.
- 3
Set up the ask process
Templates and a simple sending process are built into your existing customer communication.
- 4
Implement responses
Every incoming review, positive or negative, is responded to by the routine set down in writing after we have spoken to you.
- 5
Measure and adjust
We track review volume and rating trend and adjust the ask timing if response rates are low.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
ViRo Enterprises
- Situation
- There was no professional, easy-to-use website representing the company at all. A buyer comparing solar suppliers had nothing to read.
- What we did
- User experience planned first
- A responsive website
- Pages written properly
- One visual language
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
