Ironing services · Buyer persona

Know who hands over the bundle: the bachelor, the couple, the secretary or the admin.

A buyer persona for an ironing service is a written picture of the people who decide to hand clothes to a press, and what each one needs to hear. GullySales works on separating the household, the association and the office buyers so each gets the right message and offer.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For ironing services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The bachelor and the working couple buy time”

They want clothes back by evening and a pickup that needs no conversation. A reliable boy, a count on the phone and a standing slot matter more to them than a rate lower by a few rupees.

  • “The association secretary buys peace in the building”

This buyer is not the one who irons. They choose a vendor who will not cause complaints at the gate, who comes at agreed times and who has someone to call. A written note speaks to them better than a discount.

  • “The office admin buys a fixed day and a written rate”

They have to explain the cost to a manager. A shop that gives a rate for a set number of shirts, a collection day and a named contact makes their job easier.

  • “The parent buys uniforms before term”

This buyer is under time pressure for a short period, wants a firm pickup day and tells other parents in the school group. A single satisfied parent can bring the next ten.

What we do

What we deliver for ironing services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page profile of each buyer

Four short profiles for the household, the association, the office and the parent, each with what they worry about and how they decide.

Result: Four profiles you can read in a few minutes and use in conversation.

  2. A message written for each buyer

The opening line, the offer and the call to action rewritten for each profile, in the words that buyer uses.

Result: A resident and an admin receive different messages.

  3. A list of objections and honest answers

What each buyer says before refusing, such as a past scorch or a missed pickup, with an honest reply for the counter.

Result: The owner has a ready reply for the usual hesitations.

  4. A map of who influences the buyer

Who the buyer asks: neighbours, the guard, the school group, the office peon. Each is listed with how to reach them.

Result: You know whose recommendation the buyer trusts.

  5. Profiles checked against your own customers

The profiles are tested against your current customers and revised where your route says something different.

Result: The profiles describe the people on your route, not an imagined average.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

  • Ironing counters inside dry cleaners and laundries
  • Doorstep ironing operators serving gated communities

  • Ironing franchise kiosks in malls and tech parks

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need personas for a small shop?
A small shop sells to a few kinds of buyer, and each needs a different promise. Writing them down takes little time and stops the shop from using one message for everyone.
Where does the information come from?
From you and your route: who you serve, who asks the questions, who complains and who refers. We organise what you already know and add what the map and enquiries show.
How often should the personas change?
When your route changes in a real way, such as new office accounts or a new building, revise them. Otherwise they stay as they are, and the working notes are corrected as you learn.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
