Locksmiths · Reputation management

Make sure the review after an emergency call gets a reply.

Reputation management for a locksmith means replying to every review, since a customer choosing between locksmiths at short notice reads recent reviews as the deciding signal.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For locksmiths

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Recent reviews matter more than old ones”

A customer searching right now checks whether the last few reviews are recent, not the total count.

  • “Response time gets mentioned naturally”

Asking a happy customer to mention how fast you arrived builds exactly the proof the next caller needs.

  • “A price dispute needs a calm, factual reply”

Emergency pricing sometimes draws complaints; a clear, specific reply protects trust better than silence.

What we do

What we deliver for locksmiths.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review request timed right after the job

A short request sent the same day a job is completed, asking the customer to mention how fast help arrived.

Result: New reviews stay recent enough to matter to the next searcher.

  2. Response templates for every review reply

Ready wording for thanking a positive review and for responding calmly and factually to a complaint or price dispute.

Result: Every review gets an answer, not just the good ones.

  3. A review monitoring routine across platforms

A routine for checking Google, Justdial and any other listing often enough that a new review does not sit unanswered for long.

Result: A customer deciding right now sees an active, responsive business.

  4. A price dispute response protocol

A written approach for replying to a pricing complaint, factually and without escalation, agreed in advance rather than improvised.

Result: A dispute gets a measured reply instead of a defensive one.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to answer the reviews a lockout, a duplicate key or a safe job brings.

Praise after a night call-out
Thank them and name the job, such as a lockout at a flat or a car key. Mention the technician's first name if the customer did. Ask if they want it kept short.
Price complaint about a late call
Reply that the call-out charge was quoted on the phone, and say what it covered. Check that your technicians quote before leaving, and note the quote on the job card.
Damage to a door or lock
If your work caused it, say so and offer to repair or replace. If the lock was already broken, reply that the technician noted the condition on the job card and share it with the customer.
Review asking if you are genuine
Reply with your shop address, the technician's name and how the customer can verify identity. Add a line on the listing that technicians carry an ID and ask the customer for proof of ownership.
Car key programming that failed
Say which make and model, and what was tried. Offer a recheck or a refund in line with your stated policy. Write the key type and chip on the job card so the next call starts with the facts.
Review that looks fake or from a rival
Look up the name and number in your call log. If no job matches, report it through the platform's process and reply once, saying you cannot find a record of a visit.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How fast should we reply to reviews?
Within a day, since a customer deciding right now is reading recent activity, not just the rating.
What if a review is unfair?
A calm, factual reply is usually more convincing to the next reader than requesting removal.
Customers say locksmiths cheat. How do we use reviews to build trust?
Ask every happy customer to name the job and area in their review, and reply to each with the technician's name. Show your shop address and photo on the listing. Trust comes from a visible address and consistent answers, not from claims.
A neighbour asked us to open a door and then complained later. What should we say?
Say publicly that you open a door only after seeing proof the person lives there, such as an ID with the address, a utility bill or a society letter. Add it to your job card. That rule protects customers and you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
