Plumbers · Local SEO

Appear in the map results when water is on the floor three streets from your base.

Local SEO for a plumber is the contest for the few map results shown to a person searching from inside your service area. GullySales works on the Google listing, the areas you serve and the reviews that name the job.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For plumbers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Distance decides who is shown”

A person searching from a flat in one layout sees plumbers nearest that layout first. A base across the city loses the result to a plumber with fewer skills and a closer address, unless the service areas are set honestly.

  • “Reviews are read for the problem, not the stars”

An emergency searcher scans for a review that mentions a burst pipe, a night call or a blocked drain. Five-star comments that say great service tell the reader nothing about the job they need done.

  • “The call button is the conversion”

Directions matter little to a plumber because customers do not visit. The tap that counts is the call button, so a number that rings a person who is on a ladder and cannot answer wastes the listing.

  • “Work photographs prove the area”

A photograph of a real job in a known layout shows that you were there. Stock images or none at all make the listing look unattended next to a rival with a gallery.

What we do

What we deliver for plumbers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing built for the emergency search

Plumber as the primary service type, leak and drain services listed, service areas by locality, and hours that match when you answer.

Result: The listing says what you fix, where, and when you pick up.

  2. Service areas that match the van

A list of localities you reach in a sensible time, checked against where past jobs actually were.

Result: No locality appears on the listing that you refuse to visit.

  3. Job photographs without house numbers

Photographs of pipework, fittings and finished work, cropped to remove addresses and anything that identifies a home.

Result: The gallery shows real work without exposing a customer.

  4. A review request naming the job and locality

A short message after each visit asking the customer to mention what was fixed and which area.

Result: New reviews carry the words a searcher is looking for.

  5. Replies to every review

A plain written answer to each comment, thanking the praise and dealing calmly with any complaint about price or timing.

Result: A prospective customer sees complaints answered in public.

  6. A count of calls from the listing

The listing's own call and message figures, noted against the position before work began.

Result: You can see whether the listing sends calls.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these plumbers.

  • Independent plumbers working from a two-wheeler and a toolbag
  • Small plumbing teams of three to six with a helper and a van
  • Bathroom and kitchen fitting specialists
  • Leak detection and concealed pipe repair specialists
  • Drain cleaning and blockage clearing services
  • Water heater, pump and tank connection installers
  • Plumbers on maintenance retainers for apartment societies and landlords
  • Plumbers who take jobs through home-service apps and want direct customers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

I work from home. Should I show my address?
You can hide the address and show only the service areas if customers do not visit. Check the platform's current rules on service-area businesses before changing it.
Can I list the same business under two names?
No. One verified listing per business is the safe way. Duplicate or keyword-stuffed names risk suspension, so check the platform's current rules and use your real trading name.
Why does a rival with fewer reviews show above me?
Distance, relevance and listing detail all count. A closer base, a better match to the search and a fuller profile can outweigh a review count, so look at those before blaming the reviews.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
