Shoe repair shops · Buyer persona

Know who hands over the shoe, and what each of them is afraid of.

A buyer persona for a shoe repair shop is a written description of one type of customer: what has broken, what worries them and what makes them say yes. GullySales builds yours from your own counter and phone conversations and not from a template.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For shoe repair shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The person in a hurry”

The wedding guest, the commuter or the interview candidate has one shoe and little time. The fear is that the shop is shut or will say come tomorrow. This buyer says yes to the first open shop that gives a price over the phone.

  • “The owner of a pair worth saving”

A leather pair bought with care is the subject here. The fear is that a rough repair will ruin it, or that the shop will say it is not worth the cost just to avoid the work. Photographs of past resoles and an honest verdict win this buyer.

  • “The parent before term”

A parent wants school shoes mended and polished before the first day. The fear is the pair failing within weeks, and the worry is the rate. A clear price and a stated collection day settle both.

  • “The person who files the bill”

The admin head of a school, plant or office buys for others. The fear is a vendor who disappears or sends a bill that will not pass accounts. This buyer says yes to a rate sheet, a named contact and a regular collection day.

What we do

What we deliver for shoe repair shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A persona sheet for each buyer

One page for each type of customer, built from the counter notes: what is broken, what is feared and what closes the sale.

Result: Each type is described in the words customers use.

  2. A list of objections and honest answers

The questions each persona asks, such as whether the repair will hold or whether it is worth the cost, with an answer you are comfortable giving.

Result: Staff answer the same objection the same way.

  3. A first WhatsApp reply for each persona

An opening message written for each type, so the hurried buyer gets hours and a price and the careful buyer gets a request for photographs.

Result: The first reply matches the buyer.

  4. A map of persona to channel

A note of where each type is found: Maps, parent groups, office managers, boutiques and plant stores.

Result: You know where to spend effort for each buyer.

  5. A one-line description for the listing

A line on the listing and the poster that tells each type the shop is for them.

Result: A reader recognises their own need in a sentence.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to survey customers?
No. A week of notes on who comes in, what they bring and what they ask is enough to begin. GullySales turns those notes into the sheets and corrects them as more customers pass through.
Is the footpath customer a different persona?
The person who stops at a footpath bench belongs to the hurried group, and walks past a shop with a closed shutter. Treat that customer as a separate sheet only if the counter notes show different habits.
What do we do with the sheets?
Use them to decide what goes on the listing, what the first WhatsApp reply says and who gets a visit. A sheet that changes none of these is not worth keeping.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
