Business hotels · Search engine optimisation

Be the hotel that a travel desk finds when it searches for a stay near the plant.

SEO for a business hotel is the work of making your own website answer the searches that admin teams and travellers type before they book. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the structure that tie your hotel to the parks, plants and hospitals around it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searches name the place, not the hotel”

Nobody types your brand. They type a hotel near an industrial area, a business hotel close to a hospital or a stay near an airport. A site with one generic page cannot answer all of those, so it answers none.

  • “OTAs hold the first page for city names”

A search for hotels in your city returns booking apps and aggregators. Your site wins on narrower searches where you can show the walking time to a named campus, which no aggregator page describes properly.

  • “Admin teams compare on facts”

The person comparing three hotels wants distance, breakfast start time, invoice type, Wi-Fi, desk in the room and meeting space. A website that hides these behind photographs loses to one that prints them in plain text.

  • “Your site and your map listing must agree”

If the website gives one address spelling and the Maps profile another, search engines treat them as doubtful. Names, phone number and distances should read the same on every page that mentions the hotel.

What we do

What we deliver for business hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each nearby place

One page for each park, plant, hospital or office cluster guests name, with the travel time, the guests you host and the facilities they ask about.

Result: Search a nearby plant's name and your page is the one written for it.

  2. A facts block on every room page

Distance, breakfast hours, desk, Wi-Fi, invoice type and early checkout set out in plain text beside the photographs.

Result: An admin executive can compare you with two others on one screen.

  3. Titles and descriptions rewritten

Page titles and descriptions that name the stay and the place in the words a searcher uses.

Result: Each result in a search shows what the page offers.

  4. A technical check

Mobile loading, broken links, duplicate pages and missing address markup found and listed in order of importance.

Result: You hold a written list of what is slowing the site.

  5. A baseline of search visits

The searches and pages that bring visitors today, recorded before changes begin.

Result: Later changes can be read against a starting point.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO reduce what we pay OTAs?
It gives guests another door that does not charge commission. Whether the share of direct bookings rises depends on the offer, the booking route and the rate shown, which is why these are worked on together.
How do we know it is working?
Read the searches and pages that bring visits, the calls and booking-link taps, and the enquiries marked as coming from the website. We record the starting position first so you are not judging from memory.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
