Cruise booking agencies · Local SEO

Appear when a family in your city searches for a cruise agent nearby.

Local SEO for a cruise agency is making sure your business shows when someone in your city searches for an agent, a cruise desk or a sailing from the nearest port. GullySales works on your map listing, your location pages and the way past guests describe you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For cruise booking agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The buyer wants an agent they can walk in to see”

A cruise is a large booking, and a retired couple may prefer to sit across a desk, see the deck plans and hand over passports in person. A map listing with the wrong hours or no photos loses that visit.

  • “Departure port searches carry a local meaning”

A buyer in Kochi who searches 'cruise from Kochi' wants a sailing and an agent near them. A page that names the port, the nearby airport and how embarkation works matches that search better than a general page.

  • “Reviews describe the agent, not just the ship”

A review that mentions how the agency handled a visa worry or a late payment tells the next buyer what working with you is like. Reviews that only praise the trip tell them nothing about the desk.

  • “Several offices need different listings”

An agency with a Mumbai desk and a Goa desk is two local businesses to a search engine. Sharing one listing, or copying the same text across both, leaves each city with a weak presence.

What we do

What we deliver for cruise booking agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Map listing set-up and clean-up

Your business name, address, hours, services and photos entered consistently on your map profile.

Result: The listing shows the same details as your website and your visiting card.

  2. City and port location pages

Pages for each city you serve, naming the nearest departure ports, the airport and how guests reach the ship.

Result: A local search lands on a page about sailings from that port.

  3. A review request routine

A short WhatsApp message to guests after they return, asking for a review in their own words, with a reply written for each.

Result: You can see which guests were asked and which reviews came in.

  4. Photos of the desk and the team

A plan for photographing the office, the brochure wall and the people a guest will meet.

Result: A visitor can picture walking in before they come.

  5. Consistency check across directories

A check that the agency's name, address and phone appear identically across directories and social profiles.

Result: One list shows every mismatch and its correction.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a map listing if bookings come on WhatsApp?
Yes. Buyers check an agency on the map before trusting a deposit. A complete listing tells them the agency exists at a real address with real hours.
Can an online-only agent do local SEO?
Only if you serve a defined area, for example guests from one city. Without a public address, we focus on city pages and the departure port rather than a map listing.
How should we reply to a bad review?
Thank the guest, state the facts calmly and offer to talk by phone. Do not argue in public. Check the platform's current rules before asking guests for reviews.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
