Group tour operators · Lead generation

Find the organisers who can fill a whole coach, not single travellers.

Lead generation for a group tour operator means reaching the club secretary, trustee, teacher or office admin who gathers the travellers, because one organiser brings the whole group. GullySales works on the sources that produce these organisers and on a record of where each one came from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For group tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One organiser is worth a full row of seats”

A single enquiry from a walking-group secretary can carry the names of everyone in that group. Counting enquiries as if each were one traveller hides which contacts matter, so the first job is to mark who is an organiser and who is an individual.

  • “Clubs, trusts and schools are the real source”

Organisers sit inside senior citizen clubs, temple trusts, school trip committees, residents' associations and office HR teams. A lead plan that only buys clicks from strangers misses the places where the group already exists and already trusts one person.

  • “A group that compares quotes needs a reason to stay”

When the organiser forwards your fare to the whole group, the group compares it with another operator. A lead that arrives with a clear per-head price, the inclusions and a named tour manager gives the organiser something to defend.

  • “Individual travellers fill the last seats”

Fixed departures also take single travellers and couples who found the date on their own. Those enquiries need a different path from a group quote, with seats left and the minimum shown, so they are not handled like a club booking.

What we do

What we deliver for group tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Organiser and traveller enquiry paths

Two separate routes on the site and in messages: one for people planning for a group, one for people joining a listed departure.

Result: Each enquiry arrives already labelled as organiser or individual.

  2. A source record for every lead

A register of the club, trust, school, office or search that each enquiry came from, kept beside the group size and trip type.

Result: You can see which clubs and trusts keep producing organisers.

  3. Club and trust introduction kit

A one-page sample trip with a per-head price, the pace of the day and the meals, written so a secretary can read it out at a meeting.

Result: A sheet a secretary can read aloud without needing you in the room.

  4. Departure pages built to be found

A page for each fixed departure with date, inclusions, minimum number and seats left, so searchers and forwarded links land on the same facts.

Result: A link that answers the first five questions a traveller asks.

  5. Lead review sheet

A short sheet listing enquiries by source and whether a group formed, so the next round of outreach follows the sources that worked.

Result: A clear view of which sources produced groups and which produced only quotes.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we run paid ads for fixed departures?
Ads can fill a date that is close to its minimum, but check results against deposits, not clicks. Senior groups come through clubs as well, so ads are one source among several.
How do we know an enquiry is an organiser?
Ask the first question early: who is travelling with you and how many. Record the answer in the enquiry log so the quote goes out in group format from the start.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
