Group tour operators · Social media

Show the coach, the tour manager and the group, and the next organiser will message.

Social media marketing for a group tour operator means showing real departures, real tour managers and real group moments so that organisers and families can picture their own group on the trip. GullySales works on what to post, how to ask permission and how to answer the messages that follow.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For group tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Photos of other people's groups need consent”

A coach photo with elderly travellers is the best proof of a trip, and also the post most likely to upset someone who did not agree. Ask on the trip, record the yes, and leave out any traveller who declines.

  • “The organiser watches how you treat the group”

A club secretary scrolls your page to see whether the tour manager is visible, the meals are shown and the pace looks comfortable. A page full of destination stock photos says nothing about how a group is looked after.

  • “Families choose for the elderly”

Adult children find the trip online for their parents. They look for a calm pace, a named leader and a medical note. Posts that answer those points reach the person who will pay and the person who will travel.

  • “Comments and messages are the real enquiry box”

A question under a departure post is an enquiry. If it waits unanswered, the next operator gets the organiser. Decide who watches comments and messages on departure days and who answers.

What we do

What we deliver for group tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Departure post series

A repeatable post for each fixed departure showing date, price per head, the minimum and seats left.

Result: Every departure has a post a traveller can forward.

  2. Tour manager spotlights

Short posts introducing each tour manager with languages spoken and trips led, shared with their consent.

Result: Followers can see who will lead before they book.

  3. Traveller consent note

A simple wording and tracking sheet for photo permission from each traveller on a trip.

Result: A record of who agreed to appear and who did not.

  4. Message reply guide

Suggested answers to the questions that arrive in comments and direct messages, with a handover to the booking desk.

Result: Replies that stay consistent whoever answers.

  5. Platform fit review

A view of which platform your organisers and families actually use, so effort goes where they look.

Result: A clear choice of where to post and where not to.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform matters for senior groups?
Ask your own travellers and organisers where they see trip news. Senior travellers meet you through clubs and WhatsApp, so social posts may mainly serve their families.
Can we run contests for free tickets?
Check the platform's current rules and the law on contests before running one. A free seat offered on a departure also changes your costs, so work out the numbers first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
