Heritage hotels · Website

Make the website show the room, the rate and the way to ask, before the history.

A website for a heritage hotel is the property's own page for operators, planners and families, carrying rooms, story, spaces and a way to enquire. GullySales works on the page structure, the content and the enquiry path.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For heritage hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The home page opens with a maharaja”

A long lead about a dynasty pushes the rooms and the booking route below the fold. A guest on a phone leaves before the facts arrive, so the room and the way to ask come first and the history follows.

  • “Rooms are described as adjectives”

Words such as regal and charming tell the operator nothing about the bath or the floor. Each room page needs the size, view, bed, bath and what is original, with a photograph.

  • “Planners cannot find the spaces”

A courtyard suited to a sangeet is mentioned in one line on a gallery page. A planner needs capacity, access, power, permissions and suppliers on a page of their own.

  • “The booking path breaks on a phone”

A form with ten fields, a slow gallery and a payment step that fails on mobile cost enquiries. Guests from Instagram arrive on a phone, and the path has to work there.

What we do

What we deliver for heritage hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page structure for three buyers

Rooms, story, events and operators laid out so each buyer finds their page within a click.

Result: Each buyer reaches their page directly.

  2. Room pages with facts

Each room with measurements, features, original details and photographs.

Result: An operator can describe the room from the page.

  3. An events and shoots page

Spaces, capacity, access, power, permissions and a way to send an enquiry.

Result: A planner has what they need on one page.

  4. A short enquiry form and WhatsApp button

A form with few fields, a click-to-chat button and a phone number for those who prefer to call.

Result: An enquiry can be sent in a few taps.

  5. A phone check

The pages tested on a phone for speed, layout and the enquiry path.

Result: The path works on the device guests use.

  6. A page for the operator fact sheet

A downloadable fact sheet for tour operators, kept current.

    Result: Operators download one document.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need online booking on the site?
A clear enquiry path with a direct rate may suit a small property better, and a booking engine can follow when the team is ready.
Can we reuse the existing website?
The structure can stay in some cases while the pages are rewritten, and we look at what you have before proposing a rebuild. Content that works is kept.
Who updates the site?
The staff, after we set up simple steps, or we can handle updates. Decide who owns each page so rates and photographs do not go out of date.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
