Meal subscription services · WhatsApp marketing

Run trials, menus, pauses and renewals on the app your subscribers already open.

WhatsApp marketing for a meal subscription service means using the Business app and its approved messages to handle enquiries, menus, reminders and renewals. GullySales works on the message set, the opt-in and the record, with the platform's current rules checked before anything is sent.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For meal subscription services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The subscriber already lives in this chat”

Meal plans in India are asked about, paid for and paused over WhatsApp. A service that answers there meets the customer at the moment of asking, and one that insists on a web form loses some of them.

  • “A broadcast without permission damages the number”

Sending the new menu to everyone in the contacts list can bring blocks and reports. Opt-in from each person, and a simple way to stop, protect the number the kitchen depends on.

  • “The menu is the message that gets read”

Subscribers open a message that tells them what lunch is. A rotation sent in a clear format before the week starts earns attention that a general offer does not.

  • “Corporate and family groups complicate the chat”

An office group or a family group may contain people who never agreed to receive promotions. The kitchen has to decide who gets which message and keep to it.

What we do

What we deliver for meal subscription services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile set up properly

Business name, description, catalogue of plans, hours and quick replies for the questions asked most.

Result: The profile shows plans, hours and a reply to each common question.

  2. An opt-in routine

A way to record each person's consent at the trial or sign-up, stored beside the subscriber record.

Result: Each number on the list has a recorded permission.

  3. Approved message templates

Wording for trial follow-up, menu, delivery update, pause, renewal and win-back, submitted for the platform's approval where required.

Result: A named template exists for each moment.

  4. Quick replies and labels

Saved answers and labels so the team replies consistently and can tell a trial from a subscriber at a glance.

Result: Each chat carries a label for its stage.

  5. A rule for groups

Instructions on when a message goes to an individual and when to a group, with groups used for service notices and not for promotion.

Result: The team follows a written rule about groups.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app suits a small kitchen. Move to the API once message volume, several agents or automation need it, and check the provider's current pricing and rules.
Can we send the menu to all our contacts?
Send it to people who agreed to receive it. Check the platform's current rules on promotional messages, and keep a record of consent so a complaint can be answered.
How do we avoid chats getting lost?
Label each chat by stage, give every chat an owner and copy the outcome into the subscriber record. A chat is where the conversation happens, but the list is where it is kept.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
