Tourism experience providers · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a visitor types what to do in their town this weekend.

SEO for an experience provider means being found when visitors search for an activity in your town, such as a food walk, a pottery class or a village stay. GullySales works on the activity pages, the search words visitors use and the questions they ask before booking.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For tourism experience providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Visitors search for the activity and the place together”

They type the town with the activity, not your business name. A page that names the experience and the location in plain words can be found; a page titled with a brand name alone cannot.

  • “Aggregator listings outrank a small host”

Large booking sites sit above independent hosts for broad searches. A narrower page about one specific experience, with real detail, competes better than a general homepage.

  • “Visitors look for answers, not poetry”

They want to know the duration, whether children can join, what to wear and where to meet. Pages that answer those questions earn the visit that a lovely paragraph about heritage does not.

  • “Seasonal interest moves the search”

A monsoon trek, a harvest visit and a festival evening are searched at set times of year. Pages prepared before the season are found when the interest arrives, not after.

What we do

What we deliver for tourism experience providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search words for each experience

A list of the phrases visitors use for your activity and your town, matched to a page each.

Result: Every experience has a page aimed at a real search.

  2. Activity pages written from your offer

One page per experience with duration, group size, inclusions, meeting point and a clear booking route.

Result: A searcher finds facts instead of general talk.

  3. Question sections on each page

Plain answers to what to wear, who can join, what happens in rain and how to pay.

Result: Questions reach you less often because the page has already answered them.

  4. Seasonal pages prepared early

Pages for festival periods and seasonal activities, written and published before the interest begins.

Result: The seasonal page is already live when searches rise.

  5. Page titles and descriptions

Titles and short descriptions written for each page so a search result states the activity and the town.

Result: Your result reads clearly beside the larger sites.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you get us to the first result?
No one can promise a position. We can make each page clear, correct and specific to a single experience, which is the part within your control.
Do we need a blog?
Not always. A few well-chosen guides, such as what to do in your town on a rainy day, can bring visitors to the activity pages. We would look at your searches before writing any.
Is a page on a booking platform enough?
A platform listing helps, but you do not control its layout or the guest's next step. Your own page gives you the full description and a direct route to WhatsApp, so use both.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
