Wildlife tour companies · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a guest searches near the park gate.

Local SEO for a wildlife tour company is the work of appearing in map results and nearby searches, both around your office and in the towns beside the parks you run trips to. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, park-town pages and the reviews that guests leave.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For wildlife tour companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Guests search the park town as well as the park”

A guest booking late may search safari booking in Sawai Madhopur or Kabini jeep safari. Those are map-style searches. A profile and a page that name the town and the gate make an operator visible where a portal's page does not reach.

  • “The office location matters to the guest at home”

A family in Pune or Bengaluru wants a company they can phone or visit before paying an advance. A complete profile with the office address, opening hours and photographs of real trips gives that comfort before the first call.

  • “Reviews that name the park carry more weight”

A review saying the guide found the tigress in zone three tells the next guest more than a line of praise. Ask guests to mention the park and the naturalist, without scripting what they say or offering anything for a review.

  • “Wrong details on the map cost a booking”

A stale phone number, an old office address or a closed-for-season note that nobody updated sends a ready guest elsewhere. Check the details on the profile whenever a park opens or closes.

What we do

What we deliver for wildlife tour companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

A full profile with services, office hours, service area and photographs from your own trips.

Result: The profile shows the real business, the area and the trips offered.

  2. Park-town pages

A page for each park town you operate from, with the gate, the pickup points and the stays you work with.

Result: A search for the town leads to a page that names it.

  3. A review request routine

A short message that asks the guest to review the trip and to mention the park and the naturalist.

Result: Reviews name the park and the guide in the guest's own words.

  4. Reply guidance for reviews

A set of replies for praise and for complaints, written to sound like your company.

Result: Every review has a reply that reads as human.

  5. Directory and listing check

The same name, address and phone details on the main directories and travel listings.

Result: Your details match everywhere they appear.

  6. Seasonal profile updates

Photographs, hours and notices changed when a park closes or reopens.

Result: The profile matches the park's current state.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a physical office to use a business profile?
Google sets its own rules on which businesses may list, so check them for your case. A company with a staffed office can list it. Tour operators that work only from phones should read the current guidelines before applying.
Can we ask a guest for a review right at the gate?
Ask once the trip is over, when the guest has photographs to show. Do not offer discounts or gifts in return, and check the platform's current rules on asking for reviews.
Does a local page for each park town duplicate our park page?
Not if each one answers a different question. The park page covers wildlife, zones and months. The town page covers pickup, the gate, stays and the road in.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
