Institutional food suppliers · Search engine optimisation

Be found by the warden or canteen head who types an item, a town and the word supplier.

SEO for an institutional food supplier means being found by the person who buys for a kitchen, such as a hostel warden, a canteen contractor, a chef or a purchase manager searching for bulk rice, vegetables or paneer in their area. GullySales builds a page for each product line and each kind of kitchen you supply, so a search lands on the page that answers it.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For institutional food suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search the item and the town”

A purchase manager types bulk toor dal supplier in Mysuru, not your company name. A home page listing everything gives search nothing to match.

  • “IndiaMART ranks you and your own site does not”

A buyer finds your listing, then looks for your site to check the licence and the vehicles. With none, the next supplier looks steadier.

  • “Pages written for households pull the wrong enquiries”

A page of the kind a grocery shopper reads brings requests for one kilo. Keep bulk and kitchen pages apart from anything meant for homes.

What we do

What we deliver for institutional food suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each product line

Vegetables, rice and pulses, dairy, eggs, meat, oils and groceries, each with grades, pack sizes, the source and the delivery slot.

Result: A buyer finds the item they came for, not a general profile.

  2. A page for each kind of kitchen

Hostels, canteens, hospitals, caterers and hotels, each describing how you supply that kind of kitchen and what it checks first.

Result: A warden and a hotel chef both see their own kitchen on the page.

  3. Pages for the areas your vans reach

One page per city or cluster of localities you deliver to, stating the order cut-off and the delivery hour, and nothing you do not serve.

Result: Local searches reach a page that is true of that route.

  4. Licence and vehicle details as text

FSSAI licence as printed on the certificate, GST registration, vehicles, cold room and packing area, written out so a buyer and a search engine can both read them.

Result: A purchase manager can vet you before the first call.

  5. Google Business Profile for the godown or yard

Address, hours, product categories, photographs of the loading bay and vans, and a way to ask for a rate.

Result: A kitchen searching nearby finds a real place with a phone number.

  6. Reporting by product and kitchen type

Visits and enquiries for each product page and each kitchen page, against the baseline recorded at the free audit.

Result: You know which page brought the hostel and which brought the caterer.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches kitchens type

What a warden, chef or purchase manager types when looking for a bulk food supplier, and the page that answers it.

vegetable supplier for hostel near me
A kitchen page for hostels. State the vegetable list you carry, the early delivery slot, the cut-off the night before and what happens when a delivery is missed.
sona masoori rice wholesale for canteen
A product page. Give the variety, bag sizes, the mill or source, how a sample is sent and the smallest quantity for a standing order.
paneer and curd supplier for hotels
A chilled goods page. Show the vehicle and cold storage you actually use, the delivery hour and the shelf life as printed on the pack.
grocery supplier for canteen contractor in Peenya
A page for contractors who run kitchens at several sites. Say whether you give one rate sheet for all sites and whether invoices go site by site or together.
chicken supplier for caterers and functions
A page for meat and poultry. Give the licensed source, the cuts and how a caterer books a large order against a function date.
food supplier tender documents for hostels

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for institutional food suppliers

  1. 1

Look at the kitchens you supply

How enquiries arrive, who gets quoted, which kitchens reorder, what is overdue and what was said when one left.

  2. 2

    Put the supplier pack together

The profile, the rate sheet, the sample set and the document file, written for the person who decides.

  3. 3

Run quote and trial in fixed steps

A reply routine, a trial delivery and a call afterwards, so a rate query becomes a standing order or a clear reason.

  4. 4

    Record each kitchen

Buyer, rates, slot, credit, rejections and dues in one record the company owns.

  5. 5

    Keep the account

Renewal dates, feedback after problems and an introduction from each happy kitchen to the next.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we publish our rates on the website?
Publish the items, grades, pack sizes and minimum order. Vegetable and egg rates move, so a printed rate goes stale and is quoted back to you. Send a dated rate sheet to the buyer who asks.
Do we need a page for every locality we deliver to?
No. Make a page for each city or cluster of areas your vans really reach, with the cut-off and delivery hour for that route. Dozens of near-identical locality pages read as padding to buyers and search engines.
Should the site have a blog, or is that for shops?
A few useful pages beat a blog. A guide to how a hostel should check a delivery, or what a tender document asks for, gets read by buyers. Posts about recipes bring home cooks who will never buy a quintal.
Can we copy item descriptions from a big supplier's site?
Do not. Copied text is a duplicate to a search engine, and it describes someone else's source and vans. Write the grade you check at receiving and the pack you send.
Is it worth bidding on government hostel and school tenders?
Only if you can carry the deposit and the wait for payment without starving your regular kitchens. Read the tender document for payment terms and the penalty for short supply before you bid. We build the document file so bidding is not a scramble, and you choose which notices to answer.
Should we list on IndiaMART and JustDial?
A listing brings caterers and new kitchens who ask several suppliers at once, so it is worth keeping if you reply fast and name the item, pack and delivery area. Treat its enquiries as trials to convert, not as standing orders, and log each one by source.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
