Pharmaceutical distributors · Social media

Use social channels to stay in front of the trade, and never to advertise medicines.

Social media for a pharmaceutical distributor means a professional presence that shows the business to chemists, hospitals and company managers. GullySales works on trade-safe posts about facilities, service and team, written within what your adviser allows.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Pharmaceutical distributors: show a real physical business scene illustrating Batch and expiry stock. Hold stock by item, batch, expiry and warehouse, and offer the earliest-dated batch first at billing unless the counter deliberately picks another one.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For pharmaceutical distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is the trade, so the posts are too”

A page that shows a vehicle loaded for a route, a cold room or the packing team speaks to the people who might buy supply. A post about a medicine speaks to the public, and the rules for that differ by type of medicine and change.

  • “LinkedIn reaches the company side”

Regional managers and area business managers look at who a stockist is before they recommend one. A page that shows the business, its facilities and its people gives them something to read, where a bare phone number gives them nothing.

  • “A staff member posting on their own account”

A delivery supervisor or salesman may share a photo with a product on it. Without a simple written guide, the business discovers it only when someone complains, so staff need one page that says what to share and what to leave out.

What we do

What we deliver for pharmaceutical distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A trade-only posting guide

A one-page guide for staff and the owner that lists what may be shown and what stays off, checked with your adviser.

Result: Anyone on the team can tell if a post is acceptable.

  2. A company-profile page

A professional page with facilities, coverage and team, written as trade information.

Result: A manager checking your name finds a clear profile.

  3. A bank of facility photographs

Pictures of godown, vehicles, cold room and dispatch, with captions.

Result: The owner has ready material for posts.

  4. A posting plan for the owner

A short list of post types for the owner to choose from, such as an area added or a new facility.

Result: The owner posts from a list instead of inventing ideas.

  5. Comment and message handling notes

A short script for patients who write in, pointing them to their own chemist.

Result: Staff have a reply ready.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post offers on medicines?
No offers or prices aimed at the public. Trade terms go to chemists directly, by call or message. Rules on promotion differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser.
Which channel suits a stockist?
LinkedIn reaches company managers, and a WhatsApp business profile reaches chemists. A public page on other channels is for completeness and for showing the business is real, not for selling.
Who should run the page?
Someone on your team who can reply promptly and knows the rules you have agreed. We write the guide and the first posts, and your staff keep the page current.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
