Textile wholesalers · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a buyer lands on when they search a fabric by name, width and use.

SEO for a textile wholesaler is the work of making your fabrics findable by the words a buyer types, such as the fabric, its width and its use. It matters most for buyers who do not yet know your counter. GullySales builds the fabric pages, the page titles and the site structure that search engines can read.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For textile wholesalers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by cloth, not by company”

A boutique owner types the fabric and a colour or use, not your firm's name. A site that lists only a company profile and a phone number gives search engines nothing to match. A page for each fabric family does.

  • “Width and composition are search words too”

Buyers write width, blend and weave when they look for cloth they can cut. When those details sit in a photograph or a PDF, search cannot read them. Typed text on the fabric page can.

  • “One page for every fabric makes thin pages”

A list of forty qualities on a single page tells search nothing in particular. A page per fabric family, with real detail about each, is clearer to read for the buyer and for the search engine.

  • “A market name carries weight”

Buyers add the market or the city to the search because they want a supplier they can visit or trust. Naming your market and the city on the page helps a stranger place you.

What we do

What we deliver for textile wholesalers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fabric-family keyword map

A sheet matching each fabric family you sell to the phrases buyers use, including width, blend and use.

Result: Every fabric page has a search phrase it is written for.

  2. Fabric pages with typed specifications

Pages for each family with width, composition, colours and a swatch request, all in text.

Result: Open a page and the details are readable without a download.

  3. Page titles and descriptions

Titles and descriptions written to name the fabric, the trade and the market.

Result: Each page announces what it is in a search result.

  4. Site structure for buyers

A menu that moves a buyer from fabric type to use to swatch request without dead ends.

Result: A buyer reaches the swatch form within a few taps from any fabric page.

  5. Image text and file naming

Names and descriptions for swatch photographs so search can read what each picture shows.

Result: Photographs carry a fabric name instead of a camera number.

  6. A search-visit record

A simple view of which fabric pages receive visits and which of them lead to a swatch request.

Result: You can see which pages send buyers and which only collect visits.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these textile wholesalers.

  • Garment manufacturers and stitching units that buy by the roll
  • Boutiques and designers who buy small lots in many colours
  • Tailors and tailoring shops in towns and city markets
  • Saree and dress-material retailers
  • Uniform makers who supply schools and companies
  • Home furnishing makers who need curtain and upholstery cloth
  • Export houses and merchandisers who buy for orders
  • Agents and brokers who place orders for several buyers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO bring us garment manufacturers?
It brings buyers who search by fabric, and some garment units do. Established stitching units buy through relationships they already hold. The pages support those relationships by giving an agent or a salesperson something to point to.
Do we need every fabric on the site?
No. Start with the families that earn you the most orders and the ones you want more of. A page that is thorough about ten qualities serves a buyer better than a thin page about a hundred.
Can you promise a first-page ranking?
No, and nobody honest can. We build pages that are clear, correct and well structured, and we show you the visits and the swatch requests they bring so you can judge the work on evidence.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
