Trucking companies · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a shipper near your yard searches for a truck.

Local SEO for a trucking company is getting your yard, office and service area right on Google Maps and in nearby searches. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the address details and the reviews from shippers you have served.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For trucking companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The yard is the address a shipper trusts”

A trader who searches for a truck on hire near the transport nagar or the industrial estate wants a fleet with a real yard. A profile with the right pin, photographs of the yard and a board at the gate shows that the trucks are somewhere real.

  • “The service area needs saying, not guessing”

A fleet that runs several states from an office in one town confuses a map listing. Fix the base first, then list the towns and routes served, so a search from a town on your lanes can return you.

  • “Reviews from shippers read differently from shop reviews”

A plant logistics head reads for words such as on time, paperwork complete and no shortage. Ask shippers to describe the load and the lane, not only to give stars. Never pay for a review, and check the platform's current rules.

  • “Duplicate listings split the calls”

An old listing under a former partner's name, a second pin made from a driver's phone and a load board entry with another number send calls to places the owner never sees. Find each one, then claim it or ask for its removal.

What we do

What we deliver for trucking companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile set-up for the yard

Name, business type, address pin, opening hours, service area and the phone the dispatcher answers, entered the same way everywhere.

Result: The profile shows the right pin and the number a clerk picks up.

  2. Photographs of trucks, yard and gate

Real images with plain captions, covering each vehicle type, the loading area and the entrance board.

Result: A shipper can see the yard and the vehicles before calling.

  3. Duplicate listing audit

A search for old and doubled entries under your name, number and address, with a note on what to claim and what to report.

Result: A list of every entry found and what was done with each.

  4. Review request message

A short WhatsApp message with the profile link, sent to a shipper after delivery, asking for a few words on the load and lane.

Result: The clerk sends the same polite message each time, and no review is written for anyone.

  5. Name, address and phone consistency

One spelling of the company name and address across the profile, load boards, directories and the website.

Result: The same details appear on every listing you control.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these trucking companies.

  • Owner-operators with one to five trucks
  • Fleet owners with ten to fifty trucks on contract and market loads
  • Tipper and construction material truck operators
  • Tanker operators for fuel, chemicals, milk and edible oil
  • Trailer and container haulage operators near ports and rail terminals
  • Car carrier and vehicle transporters
  • Bulk cement and fly ash carriers
  • Truck operators attached to a single plant or a mine

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our trucks are on the road. Can the profile still be verified?
Verification is tied to a place where the business can be checked, so the yard or office matters. Follow the steps Google shows for your address and check the platform's current rules. GullySales prepares the details and photographs; the owner completes any code or video step.
Should the profile show the driver's number or the dispatcher's?
Show the number that a dispatcher or clerk answers. A driver on the highway cannot take a quote call, and a personal number leaves the business when that driver does.
How do we ask a shipper for a review?
Send a short WhatsApp message after delivery, once the shipper has the lorry receipt, with the profile link. Ask for a few words on the load and the route. Do not offer money or favours for a review.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
