B2B wholesale marketplaces · Website

Give sellers a reason to list and buyers a reason to register, on pages built for each.

A website for a B2B wholesale marketplace is the public front of the platform: the pages sellers read before listing and the product and city pages buyers land on before they register. GullySales plans the structure and writes the page content, while your developers build the platform itself.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For B2B wholesale marketplaces

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The home page tries to speak to everyone”

A single page addressed to buyers, sellers and brands ends up saying little to each. Separate entry points for sellers and for buyers, each with its own message and one clear action, work better.

  • “Buyers want proof of range before they register”

A shop owner will not create an account to find out whether the item exists. Showing product groups, sample listings and delivery cover openly gives a reason to sign up. Gating everything behind login hides the range.

  • “Seller pages must answer the cost and settlement questions”

A wholesaler looks for how orders arrive, what the platform charges and when money is paid. A page that explains these in plain words, in your terms, saves calls and shows confidence.

  • “Mobile is the main screen”

Shop owners reach the site on a phone with a patchy connection. Heavy pages, small buttons and long forms lose them. Registration should take a few fields, with the rest asked after the first order.

What we do

What we deliver for B2B wholesale marketplaces.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site structure for sellers, buyers and brands

A page map with separate paths for each audience, product group pages and city pages.

Result: Each visitor type has a clear path and one main action.

  2. A seller landing page

A page explaining who buys on the platform in the seller's region, how orders and settlement work and how to apply to list.

Result: A seller can apply to list from the page without a call first.

  3. A buyer registration page

A short page and form for shop owners and purchase managers that shows the range and asks only what is needed to start.

Result: The form collects the fields your sales team needs and nothing more.

  4. Product group and city pages

Pages for each product group and city you serve, with real listings and delivery areas.

Result: Each page matches a search a buyer would make.

  5. A page-level tracking plan

Forms, calls and registrations tagged by page and source so the team sees which pages produce sellers and buyers.

Result: You can see which pages lead to registrations and orders.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

how delivery and returns work
A page for buyers on delivery areas, return handling and who to call, in the terms the platform holds.
help for first-time registration
A page with the registration steps and a call or chat button, for shop owners who need a person.

Who it is for

This is written for these B2B wholesale marketplaces.

  • General merchandise and FMCG marketplaces serving kirana and retail stores
  • Industrial supplies and MRO marketplaces for factory buyers
  • Textile and garment marketplaces linking mills, wholesalers and boutiques
  • Agri input and produce marketplaces for traders and processors
  • Building material and hardware marketplaces for contractors and dealers
  • Pharmacy and medical supply platforms for licensed retailers
  • Electronics and mobile accessory marketplaces for shop owners
  • Niche category platforms such as packaging, stationery or hospitality supplies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The platform's terms for fees and returns are not final, so a seller page would state a promise you may have to withdraw.
  • You want one home page for sellers, buyers and brands, which would answer none of them well.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do you build the marketplace software?
No. We plan the public pages, the structure and the content, and we brief your developers. The ordering platform, payments and logistics are your own build or vendor.
Should rates be visible before login?
It is a commercial choice. Visible rates help buyers and search, while hidden rates protect sellers from price comparison. We set out what each choice does to registrations and search so you and your sellers can decide.
What should the registration form ask?
Only what the sales team needs to start: name, business type, phone, pincode and product groups of interest. Ask for GSTIN and documents later, at the first order or credit request, so the form does not lose the visitor.
What should the registration form ask?
Only what the first order needs: name, shop or firm, town, and a phone number. Ask for tax and licence papers later, at the point of credit or a regulated item. A long form on a small screen loses the shop owner before the first order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
