Relocation companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the moves in progress and keep it separate from HR sales messages.

WhatsApp for a relocation company is the channel where coordinators, transferees, families and partners already talk during a move. GullySales works on a clear business setup, message templates and rules for what is sent to whom.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For relocation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The move runs on chat”

Flat viewings, school visits, shipment updates and landlord questions all travel on WhatsApp. A coordinator who handles this from a personal phone loses the history when they leave, and the employer has no record of what was promised.

  • “HR messages and transferee messages differ”

An HR manager wants a short, written update they can forward. A transferee wants quick answers about where to go tomorrow. Separate groups and templates keep sensitive employer matters away from the family chat.

  • “Consent and platform rules matter”

Sending promotional messages to a list of HR contacts or past transferees without permission damages trust and may breach the platform's terms. Check the platform's current rules, and send only to people who have asked or agreed.

  • “A group with the partner abroad needs structure”

When a destination partner, a housing agent and the coordinator share one group, messages get lost. A simple rule on who posts what, and a pinned summary, keeps the family from receiving contradictory instructions.

What we do

What we deliver for relocation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account setup

A WhatsApp Business profile with the company name, description and a clear way for new enquiries to reach the right person.

Result: An enquiry lands with a team, not a single phone.

  2. Message templates for common moments

Drafts for confirming a viewing, a school visit, a shipment update and a first-week check-in, written in plain language.

Result: Coordinators answer in a consistent voice.

  3. Rules for groups

Who creates a group, who is in it, what is posted and when it is closed after the move.

Result: A group has a purpose and an end.

  4. An opt-in routine for updates

A simple way to record who has agreed to receive messages, kept with the contact record.

Result: You can show who agreed to be contacted.

  5. A handover note when staff change

A short method for moving a chat history and open tasks to a colleague.

Result: A move continues when a coordinator is away.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send these moments on WhatsApp during a move, and keep sales messages out.

Shipment pickup confirmed
A message to the transferee with the pickup window the movers confirmed, sent by the coordinator and saved against the move.
Home viewing schedule
A list of flats to be seen with addresses and times, so the family and the coordinator work from the same plan.
School visit reminder
A message the day before a school appointment with the documents to carry, which spares the family a missed admission slot.
Paperwork submitted
A note that a document has gone to the authority or landlord, with what is awaited, so the transferee knows what is pending.
Consent to message
A record of the transferee agreeing to updates on this number, kept by the coordinator before the first message.

Who it is for

This is written for these relocation companies.

  • IT services and global capability centres posting staff across India and abroad
  • Manufacturing and engineering firms moving plant managers
  • Banks, insurers and consulting firms with regular transfers
  • Multinational subsidiaries in India with inbound expatriates
  • Universities and research bodies bringing in visiting staff
  • Startups making their first senior hire in another city
  • Government and public sector undertakings with posting rules
  • Individuals paying for their own overseas move

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Coordinators use personal numbers and no business number exists, so a handover when staff change would lose the chat history.
  • You plan to message HR contacts in bulk, which the platform's current rules and most HR managers do not welcome.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message HR contacts in bulk?
Do it only with permission, and keep it relevant. A short note to a contact who asked for updates is fine. A broadcast to a purchased list is a poor idea, and platform rules change, so check the current ones.
Should coordinators use personal numbers?
No. Use a company number so history stays with the business. Personal numbers mix private and work chats and leave the company with nothing when staff move on.
What goes in the transferee chat that must not go to HR?
Anything private to the family, such as personal finances or health reasons for a school choice. Agree up front what is reported to the employer and tell the transferee.
Can the partner abroad join the transferee chat?
Only with the transferee's agreement and a clear role for that person. A local partner handling housing needs to see viewings but not the family's documents. Use a separate group for the partner so private details stay with the coordinator.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
