Electronic component manufacturers · Manufacturing
Be the part an engineer has already designed in when purchase asks for a price.
A design engineer in a Pune power electronics firm needs a 400 volt film capacitor with a given ripple rating. The engineer searches for the datasheet, requests samples from two makers, and builds one part into the board. Eighteen months later, the purchase team is told to buy exactly that part.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
An electronic component manufacturer makes parts such as capacitors, resistors, connectors, magnetics, relays, switches and crystals that other companies build into their products. Marketing puts your datasheets and samples in front of design engineers and distributors. Sales turns design-ins into approved-vendor status and scheduled orders. GullySales builds the datasheet library and the design-in follow-up.
The component maker whose datasheet was clear and whose samples arrived in time was in that order long before anyone talked about price. A maker that sells only through a catalogue and a distributor price list is not in front of the engineer who decides.

How buyers decide
How electronic component manufacturers are chosen.
The first decision is made by the design engineer, from datasheets, parametric search and samples. If your part is not findable and well documented, it is not considered. Once designed in, switching is costly because the board has to be revalidated.
The second decision is made by purchase and quality. They look for approved-vendor status, supply continuity, lead time, minimum order quantity and, in automotive or medical work, qualification records. Distributors matter here: a buyer of small quantities goes through a distributor and deals with the maker only above a volume you set.
Large buyers audit the plant and ask for process control and traceability. Records kept in one set answer the next audit request from the same material.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for electronic component manufacturers.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Engineers cannot find our datasheets”
The PDFs sit in a folder on the website with file names like final2, so a search for the part number leads to a distributor's listing instead.
“We are specified by nobody”
Sales goes straight to purchase managers who can only buy what the design team has already chosen.
“Samples go out and nothing comes back”
A sample is posted to an engineer, nobody notes it, and three months later the engineer has used another part.
“Distributors treat us as one line among thousands”
Their counter staff quote the maker they know best, and the maker's own sales team never learns who asked.
“Customers audit us again and again”
Each OEM audit asks for the same records in a different format, and the quality team rebuilds the pack each time.
“Imports set our price”
Buyers say a similar part is available at a lower price, and our team has no way to show where ours performs better.
What we do
What we do for electronic component manufacturers.
Everything included for electronic component manufacturers.
Datasheet library an engineer can search
Each part family on its own page with a downloadable datasheet, ratings, dimensions and a sample request, named by the part number people search.
Sample request routine
A form or WhatsApp number for samples, with each request logged against the engineer and the project, and a follow-up date set at dispatch.
Design-in tracker
A record of every project where your part is under evaluation or designed in, with the engineer, the OEM and the expected production start.
Distributor information pack
Part lists, application notes and a lead-sharing rule for distributors, so enquiries reaching them come back to your team.
Qualification and audit pack
Test reports, process records and certificates kept as one set for automotive and OEM approvals.
Application notes
Short technical notes on where each part family fits, written for the engineer and not the buyer.
Sample-to-order trail
Enquiries, sample requests, design-ins and orders set down in one sheet, so a purchase order can be followed back to the part that was sampled.
How the result is measured
- Datasheet downloads for each part family
- Samples sent against projects that reached a design review
- Design-ins that went on to a purchase order
- Enquiries from engineers, purchase teams and distributors
- Enquiries a distributor passed back to your team
- OEM vendor approvals applied for and received
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Every service, written for electronic component manufacturers
Each has its own page: what it involves for electronic component manufacturers, what you get, and what it is measured on.
- Lead generationBring in design engineers and approved-vendor buyers who need the part you make.
- SEOLet an engineer searching for a rating reach your datasheet before a distributor's page.
- Social media marketingShow engineers the factory floor and the test bench where your parts are proven.
- Content marketingPublish the notes an engineer would otherwise have to ask your application team for.
- Buyer personasWrite down who decides, who approves and who pays before you write another datasheet.
- CRMRecord every sample, every design-in and every approval against the engineer who asked.
- Follow-up systemsCall the engineer after the sample lands, because that is when the design decision forms.
- WhatsApp marketingAnswer an engineer's part-number question on the chat they already have open.
- Digital marketingPut your parts in front of the engineers and buyers who search before they call.
- WebsiteBuild a site where an engineer finds the rating, the datasheet and the sample form in one visit.

A document pack and outreach to sourcing teams building EV and automotive electronics in India.
Trade show follow-up campaign
A plan to record every conversation at an electronics expo and follow up the engineers who asked technical questions.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of electronic component manufacturers, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
Design and R&D engineers
Part pages, application notes and a sample offer, written for the people who choose the part on the drawing.
Purchase and quality teams at OEMs
A vendor pack for the purchase and quality teams, and a note of the approval status for each customer.
Electronics distributors
A distributor kit, with the lead-sharing rule that routes enquiries back to your team.
EMS companies
Contract manufacturers who pick parts or approve alternates on behalf of brands, approached with cross-reference data.
Trade fairs and clusters
Expo stalls and clusters such as Pune or Bengaluru's Peenya give technical questions; each is written against an engineer's name and the part discussed.
Who it is for
This is written for these electronic component manufacturers.
- Capacitor and resistor makers

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for electronic component manufacturers
- 1
Find out how past buyers found the part
Your order book shows which customers and part families bring revenue; a call or two to the engineers behind them shows what they typed or who recommended you.
- 2
Rename the datasheets
File names like final2 become part numbers, and each family gets a page with ratings, dimensions and a sample form.
- 3
Follow each sample to a board
From the sample dispatch note to the design review to the first purchase order, one line per project.
- 4
Agree the lead rule with distributors
Counters in the main electronics markets quote you to small buyers; a written rule brings the larger enquiries back to your team.
- 5
Keep one set of approval papers
Test reports, process records and certificates stay in a single folder that answers the next OEM audit and vendor form alike.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
Burhani Hydroline
- Situation
- The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
- What we did
- Research before design
- Wireframes and prototypes
- The full product catalogue
- An online checkout
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
