Gearbox manufacturers · Website

Give the engineer a site that finds the gearbox from a nameplate.

A website for a gearbox manufacturer works as a technical reference as well as a company profile, holding specifications, drawings, a replacement finder and a clear way to ask for a quote. GullySales works on a site structured by family, readable by search engines and built so an engineer reaches an answer without calling.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For gearbox manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor arrives with a plate, not a brand”

An engineer lands from a search with a ratio and a shaft size in mind. The site should offer a way to enter those, not a slideshow about the factory.

  • “Drawings and CAD save a call”

A designer who can download a dimension drawing in the format of their software can put your unit into the layout the same day. A site without drawings sends the designer to a competitor who has them.

  • “A phone-only visitor needs a short path”

Engineers read the site on a phone in the plant. Tables must scroll sensibly, and the call and WhatsApp buttons must sit within reach.

  • “An old site with stale data does harm”

A torque table that disagrees with the printed catalogue creates a dispute at the order. The site and the catalogue must come from one source of figures.

What we do

What we deliver for gearbox manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site structure by family

A layout with one page for each gearbox family, plus pages for sectors, services, repair and distributors.

Result: Each family and sector has its own page with its own title.

  2. Replacement finder

A form where the visitor enters ratio, shaft size, mounting and power and is routed to your team with the details attached.

Result: Enquiries from the finder arrive with the nameplate details filled in.

  3. Drawings and CAD library

Dimension drawings and downloadable CAD files in the formats your engineers choose to supply.

Result: Each product page links its drawing and its CAD file.

  4. Enquiry forms with routing

Separate forms for breakdown, OEM and distributor enquiries, each sending to the right person and recording in the CRM.

Result: Each form delivers to a named person.

  5. Mobile checks

Testing of tables, forms and buttons on ordinary phones used in plants.

Result: The finder and the call button work on a phone screen.

  6. A single source of figures

A process so site tables and the printed catalogue are updated together from one approved sheet.

Result: A change to a figure is made once and appears in both.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these gearbox manufacturers.

  • Helical and helical-bevel gearbox makers
  • Worm gearbox makers for light and medium duty
  • Planetary and servo gearbox makers
  • Heavy-duty gearbox makers for mills, kilns and cranes
  • Geared motor makers selling to OEMs
  • Sugar, cement and steel plant gearbox specialists
  • Gearbox repair, rebuild and spare gear firms
  • Power transmission distributors who also assemble
  • Custom gear cutting shops that supply boxes

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a full redesign?
Not always. If the structure and data are sound, we can add the finder and family pages to the existing site. We look at the site first, then decide.
Who supplies the technical data?
Your engineers. We organise it, build the pages and ask your team to check every table before it goes live.
Can the site take orders online?
For standard spares it can be set up, but a gearbox sale still needs a quote in the main. We begin with enquiry and quote routes and add ordering where the product suits it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
