Ice cream manufacturers · Social media

Post the flavour, the price and the place, so a scroll turns into an order.

Social media marketing for an ice cream maker is the use of Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp status to show flavours, packs and outlets to households, caterers and parlour seekers. GullySales works on what is posted, which buyer it is meant for and how an enquiry is caught.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For ice cream manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A tub on white tells nobody where to buy it”

A studio photograph of a tub looks neat and gives the viewer nothing to do. A post that names the flavour, the pack size, the area you deliver to and a way to order gives the same viewer a next step.

  • “Households and caterers follow different accounts”

A family watches reels of cones and seasonal fruit flavours. A caterer wants rate cards, event photographs and delivery proof. One feed trying to please both pleases neither, so decide the first audience and post for it.

  • “Festival and fruit moments are the posting calendar”

Mango arrival, a heatwave, a school holiday, a wedding date and a festival kulfi order all give a reason to post. A feed that waits for inspiration misses them, while a feed planned to those dates always has a post ready.

  • “A comment asking the price is a lead”

People write how much in a comment instead of messaging. If nobody replies with the rate and an order link, the viewer scrolls on. Treat comments and direct messages as an enquiry desk, and answer from one person.

What we do

What we deliver for ice cream manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A posting calendar built on the trade year

Dates for fruit flavours, school holidays, wedding months, festivals and the off-season, with the post type planned for each.

Result: The team knows what goes up before the date arrives.

  2. Post templates for flavour, pack and price

Reusable layouts that carry the flavour name, pack size, price band and the order link in the same place every time.

Result: Each post gives the viewer a flavour and a way to order.

  3. A caterer-facing set of posts

Event photographs, a rate card and delivery details shown for people who plan functions, kept apart from the household feed.

Result: A caterer scrolling past finds proof you can serve an event.

  4. A reply routine for comments and messages

A short list of standard answers for price, availability, delivery area and franchise questions, with a named person who sends them.

Result: No price question stays unanswered under a post.

  5. A shop-poster and social match

Posters for freezer shops using the same flavour images as the feed, so a shopper recognises the brand in both places.

Result: The brand looks the same on the shop door and on the phone.

  6. A post review by outcome

Which posts brought messages, calls or orders, set against the ones that only brought likes.

Result: You can see which kind of post earns an enquiry.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Which platform should an ice cream maker prioritise?
Instagram suits flavour and outlet pictures, and WhatsApp status suits regular buyers who already have your number. Facebook reaches older family buyers in towns. We choose by where your buyers actually are, which your sales record shows.
Can we advertise on social media for a franchise?
Yes. A local advert aimed at people near your supply route, with a form for town and investment range, is one route. Check the platform's current rules on franchise and food advertising before you publish.
Should we show children eating ice cream?
Be careful. Advertising rules differ for food and for children, so check with your own adviser. Using staff, family-pack shots or hands holding a cone avoids the problem and still looks warm.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
