Metal forging companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the forge that appears when a buyer searches for the part by process and grade.

SEO for a forge is the work of building pages that answer what a purchase head or design engineer types, such as closed die forged flanges or ring rolled bearing races. GullySales works on product family pages, the certificate page and the technical wording a buyer recognises.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For metal forging companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by process and part together”

The words typed are open die forged shafts, ring rolled flanges and closed die forged gear blanks. A single page titled Forgings answers none of them. Each product family needs its own page, with the process in the heading and the grade and weight range in the opening paragraph.

  • “Technical detail is the ranking material”

A page listing equipment, sizes, grades, tolerances and the machining allowance gives a search engine and a design engineer the same thing to read. A page with a stock photograph of sparks gives neither. The detail already printed on your drawings and quotes is the content.

  • “Export searches use standards”

An overseas buyer or trader searches for a forging manufacturer in India and names an ASTM or EN grade. Pages that state the standards you forge to, the inspection you offer and the packing you use meet that search where a general export page does not.

  • “Forging towns share one results page”

Forges from Kolhapur, Ludhiana and Belagavi appear side by side. A buyer comparing them looks for the equipment list and the certificate. The forge that publishes both gives the buyer a reason to stay on the page and call.

What we do

What we deliver for metal forging companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map by process and part

A list of the phrases buyers use for each product family, grouped by process, grade and standard.

Result: One sheet showing which phrase belongs to which page.

  2. Product family pages

Separate pages for flanges, shafts, rings, auto forgings and valve bodies, each opening with the heaviest piece and the equipment that forges it.

Result: Each page states weight range, grades and tolerances in its first paragraph.

  3. A standards and certificates page

A plain page naming the grades, standards, test certificates and inspection options, with buyer details removed from a sample certificate.

Result: A quality head can match paperwork to the page before any order.

  4. Titles, headings and descriptions

Page titles and descriptions written from the part names and grades buyers search, with your town named.

Result: Every page has a title that names the part and the process.

  5. A Search Console set-up and query reading

Google Search Console connected to the site, with a plain list of the searches that bring the pages up.

Result: The owner can see which part searches reach the site.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

  • Ring rolling units making bearing races and flanges
  • Valve and flange forgers for oil, gas and process plants
  • Railway and heavy engineering forgers
  • Hand tool and agricultural implement forgers
  • Cold and warm forging units for fasteners and small precision parts
  • Forge shops with in-house machining and heat treatment

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a page for every part?
A page for each product family is the starting point, such as flanges, shafts, rings and auto forgings. A single part earns its own page when buyers search for it by name and you forge it regularly.
Will SEO put us first for forging?
No ranking is promised. Results depend on competing forges and on what the site says. We build pages that match the searches buyers make and read what the results show.
Why publish grades when competitors can read them?
The buyer decides whether to call by reading them, and competitors learn the same from your quotes and samples. Ranges give the buyer enough to qualify you without handing over the full catalogue.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step
