Metal forging companies · Social media

Show the press, the part and the paperwork where purchase teams and engineers scroll.

Social media for a forge means using LinkedIn, YouTube and sometimes Instagram to show real equipment, real parts and real inspection to the people who judge a vendor. GullySales works on what to film, what to post and which post suits which platform.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For metal forging companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “LinkedIn is where the buyer's colleagues look”

A purchase head about to add a forge to the approved list asks the quality head and the design engineer for a view. Both look at the forge's LinkedIn page. Part photographs, an equipment list and inspection posts read as a working forge, while an empty page reads as doubt.

  • “Forging is visual when it is filmed plainly”

A billet leaving the furnace, a hammer stroke and a sectioned part showing grain flow hold an engineer's attention. Stock sparks do not. A phone clip from the shop floor, with the part and grade named in the caption, convinces better than polished footage of nothing in particular.

  • “Customer drawings belong to the customer”

A post showing a buyer's part without permission damages the trust the forge is trying to win. Posts use your own sample parts, plain shapes, or parts the buyer has approved for display in writing.

  • “YouTube answers the technical question”

Engineers search for what closed die forging does to grain flow or why a flange is ring rolled. A short explainer in the forge's own voice, with the shop behind it, reaches a design engineer before a sales call does.

What we do

What we deliver for metal forging companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shop floor shot list

A list of clips and photographs to take on a phone: furnace, press or hammer, forged part, sectioned part, inspection bench and packing.

Result: A single page the shop can work from during a normal shift.

  2. A post plan by platform

Which posts go to LinkedIn, which to YouTube and which to a dealer audience on Instagram if you sell hand tools or agricultural implements.

Result: A plan that names the platform for each post type.

  3. A permission note for customer parts

A one-page template asking a buyer for written approval before a part or drawing appears in a post.

Result: A signed or emailed approval kept beside each post that shows a buyer's part.

  4. Captions with part, grade and weight

Caption wording that names the part, the process and the grade, so each post is useful to a design engineer.

Result: Every caption states what was forged and how.

  5. A LinkedIn company page set-up

A page with the equipment list, product families, certificates and a clear route for drawings.

Result: A buyer's colleague finds the facts on the page without a call.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these metal forging companies.

  • Closed die forging shops for auto and two-wheeler components
  • Open die forgers of shafts, rings and large blocks
  • Ring rolling units making bearing races and flanges
  • Valve and flange forgers for oil, gas and process plants
  • Railway and heavy engineering forgers
  • Hand tool and agricultural implement forgers
  • Cold and warm forging units for fasteners and small precision parts
  • Forge shops with in-house machining and heat treatment

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Is social media worth it for a business-to-business forge?
It is worth it where it shows the buyer's colleagues that the forge is real. It does not replace outreach or search. We treat it as proof that supports both.
Which platform should we begin with?
LinkedIn for purchase and quality heads, and YouTube for technical explainers. Instagram suits a forge selling hand tools or implements to dealers. Begin with the one your team will keep up.
Can we post a customer's part?
Only with the buyer's written permission, because the drawing is theirs. Posts can show your own sample parts or parts the buyer has approved. Take legal advice on confidentiality terms in your orders.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
