Mould manufacturers · Buyer persona

The product head, the sourcing lead and the moulder each judge a mould differently.

A buyer persona for a mould maker describes the people who commission or approve an injection mould and what each of them needs to see. GullySales works on writing these from your own enquiries and past orders, so pages and messages speak to the right reader.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For mould manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The product head owns the launch”

Their worry is the launch date and the look of the part. They want to know that thin walls and undercuts will be flagged early and that the first shot will match the model. Speak to them about the review and the try-out.

  • “The sourcing lead owns the comparison”

This reader holds several quotes and a spreadsheet. The lines must match: steel, hot runner, texture, samples. A quote that explains its inclusions lets them defend a higher price inside their own company.

  • “The moulder owns the failure”

A moulder who buys on a customer's behalf takes the blame when the mould jams. They look for cavity counts that suit their press, a repair route and a maker who answers the phone. Their persona is about trust after delivery.

  • “The studio recommends”

A product design studio does not place the order but is asked who should. It needs a gallery and a review sheet it can forward without embarrassment, since its own name rides on the suggestion.

What we do

What we deliver for mould manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheet for each role

A page per role covering what they search, what they worry about, what they need in a quote and who else they consult.

Result: One sheet per role that the sales team reads before a call.

  2. Question bank from enquiries

The questions each role has asked, taken from your enquiry log and call notes.

Result: Real questions in the buyers' own words, held in one document.

  3. Opening notes by role

An introduction for each persona, naming the concern and pointing to the page or sheet that answers it.

Result: Separate openers that do not repeat each other.

  4. Page routing

Links on the site that send each role to the page written for them, such as the quote explainer for the sourcing lead.

Result: A site map showing which page serves which reader.

  5. Won and lost review

A short look at recent orders won and lost, noting which role decided.

Result: A list showing who made the decision on each order.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Do we need personas with a short customer list?
A short customer list makes personas easier, because you can name the real people behind each. Write them from actual orders. They stay a working description, revised as new buyers appear.
Can one person be two personas?
Yes. In a small brand, one product head may also do the sourcing. Keep both sets of concerns on the page for that buyer: the launch date and the comparison of quotes.
Where do the facts for a persona come from?
From your enquiry log, quote history and what buyers said in review meetings. We do not invent buyers. Where records are thin, the persona says so and is revised as you collect more.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
